To all of our clients and friends,
It has been almost 6 months since Bridget’s passing. We have been trying our best here at Hummingbird Health to put our feet forward and continue to keep the business going for her, providing all the same services and the same care that she gave to so many people for so many years. To those who still came through the doors in the midst of all this heartache of her loss - still willing to see June and buy supplements despite the absence of her presence in the office - we cannot thank you enough! 💜 We’re here to keep this business going in her name; June in particular tries every day to take what she learned from her mother and entrust it to the next person sitting in her office, hoping that her mother’s legacy will continue.
However, we know many people are still feeling her loss and still hesitate to step foot in the doors again, knowing that Bridget will not be there. We understand - we have days where it’s difficult for us to open the doors knowing she’s not here with us as well. But we do every day so that her memory will stay alive. So we keep the lights on, we keep paying the bills, and we keep the doors open. Unfortunately since Bridget’s passing, we have lost a significant portion of clientele coming in, making it increasingly difficult to keep those lights on and those bills paid.
In all honestly, we are starting to realize that if not enough of our clients return, we may have to consider closing the doors for good, and this is devastating us all over again.
I know the biggest reason for many not returning right away is because Bridget was such a treasure and it doesn’t feel the same now that she’s gone. We can’t stress enough how much we understand that. Bridget was one of a kind. Even June understands that she may not be Bridget in personality, but her heart is just as big as her mother’s and is trying very hard to put that heart into every person she sees. Bridget truly wanted to see her family be able to continue her work and keep her legacy alive. But we can’t do that without enough support.
So if anyone has been “thinking about coming in”, please don’t wait too long. Please come in and let us help you in your health journey! If we don’t see the schedule getting fuller by December, we are going to have to make the heartbreaking decision to close the doors on January 1, 2027.
With greatest sincerity,
The Houston Family
