On World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, we're highlighting the important role hospice and palliative care play in helping patients and families navigate serious illness.

Both hospice and palliative care focus on comfort, quality of life and support, helping patients receive care that aligns with their goals and wishes. Palliative care can begin at diagnosis and alongside treatment. Hospice care is typically chosen when treatment is no longer working or a patient decides to stop curative treatment for a terminal illness, shifting the focus to comfort, quality of life and support for both the patient and their loved ones.

We invite everyone to join us for our annual Memorial Service on September 24th at 6pm. Together with our Amedisys Hospice staff, we will gather on this special evening to honor and remember the patients we were privileged to serve, along with their loved ones who continue to hold them close in their hearts.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Heavenly Grace Funeral Home for graciously allowing us to host our annual Memorial Service in one of their chapels. Your generosity provides a peaceful space for our staff, families, and community to gather in remembrance.
