Hospice care is about more than caring for the patient, it’s also about supporting the family members and caregiverswalking alongside them.

At The Medical Team Hospice, our interdisciplinary team helps families feel supported throughout the hospice journey by providing education and guidance, 24/7 on-call support, medication and symptom education, medical equipment and supplies, emotional and spiritual support, and bereavement services.

Caregiving can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Our team is here to provide comfort, dignity, compassion, and support every step of the way. 🥰

Community Liaison Christine Espinosa had the pleasure of meeting Lupita Ayala, the new Center Administrator at CenterWell in Harlingen, Texas. Alongside Aracely Guaracha, RN, Christine enjoyed connecting, sharing ideas, and discussing ways they can continue working together to serve the community. 💚

We started our morning by delivering cupcakes to San Juan Nursing Home to help celebrate all the August birthdays of their wonderful residents! 🥳❤️

The celebration doesn’t stop there! They’ll be dancing the afternoon away and enjoying a fun-filled day together in San Juan, Texas! 🎶💃🕺

🎉 Celebrating National Senior Citizens Day in Raymondville! 🎉

The Medical Team Hospice had a wonderful time celebrating the clients at Mirasoles Adult Daycare with delicious banana splits! 🍌🍨 Joining the fun were Sadie Gallegos, Community Liaison, Janie Castillo, RN, Jesi Rodriguez, RN, and Elida Reyna, Ambassador for Med Team Provider Services.

The celebration continued at Windsor Nursing & Rehabilitation with a carnival event for residents and their families! Everyone enjoyed popcorn, nachos, cotton candy and plenty of smiles. 🍿🎪

🌟 CELEBRATING THE SENIORS WHO INSPIRE US 🌟

The Medical Team Hospice San Antonio enjoyed a wonderful afternoon celebrating National Senior Citizens Day with our friends at Windcrest Nursing & Rehab!

Mirandah, Admin Coordinator, Martha, RN Administrator, and Angela, Hospice Social Worker, treated the residents to pan dulce and refreshing juices while everyone enjoyed beautiful music performed by a pianist. 🎹🥐🧃🥰
