✈️ The hidden hitchhiker you never see coming!✈️
If you look through the photo album, you'll see my little crocheted louse taking a tour of the airport—hanging out on the lyft car, checking out terminal seats, and riding in the airplane cabin. But while this plushie is just posing for cute pictures, real head lice travel exactly like this.
A lot of people think you can only catch lice from direct head-to-head contact with someone you know. But it actually happens like this:
1️⃣ Someone with an active case sits in a terminal chair or an airplane seat and scratches their head.
2️⃣ A louse falls off or gets dislodged onto the fabric.
3️⃣ You come along, sit in that exact spot, lean back, and that little bu**er climbs right up onto its new host!
You don't even have to know the person who left it behind. 🪮✨ As your lice expert, I’ve seen my fair share of these "mystery" travel cases!
Travel Tip: When you're flying, waiting at the gate, or using any public transportation, consider keeping long hair tied back in a secure bun, and think twice before resting your bare head directly against fabric public seating! Lint Rollers are great for this too!
