A few days ago, I experienced something that hurt me.

My first instinct was to react immediately. To explain. To defend. To make sure my feelings were understood.

But instead, I paused.

I sat with the discomfort. I let the emotions settle. I gave myself space to process before responding.

And that pause reminded me of something important: not every feeling needs an immediate reaction.

In a world that encourages instant responses, there is incredible power in stepping back. Taking a breath. Sleeping on it. Allowing the nervous system to settle before deciding what deserves our energy.

Our first reaction often comes from our wounds. Our response can come from our wisdom.

Choosing not to react right away doesn't mean ignoring your feelings. It means honoring them enough to listen before speaking. It means protecting your peace, your integrity, and the person you have worked so hard to become.

Not everyone will understand you. Not everyone will agree with you. Not every situation will feel fair.

But you always have the choice of how you show up.

Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is remain kind without abandoning ourselves.

Sometimes the most healing thing we can do is pause long enough to let wisdom speak louder than hurt.

Protect your energy. Protect your peace. Protect your heart.

The pause is not weakness.

The pause is power.

Summer Solstice Blessing
May this Summer Solstice remind you to pause and receive the light.
May you honor how far you have come, even if the journey has felt slow, uncertain, or difficult. May you recognize the quiet strength that carried you through the darker seasons and the resilience that continues to live within you.
May the light of the longest day gently illuminate your heart, revealing not what is lacking, but all that has already grown. May you see the healing that has taken place, the lessons you have learned, and the wisdom you have gathered along the way.
May your nervous system find moments of peace. May your body remember how to rest. May your mind soften its grip on worry. May your heart feel safe enough to open to joy.
May the warmth of this season nourish your dreams, inspire your creativity, and strengthen your trust in the path unfolding before you. May abundance flow not only through what you achieve, but through what you experience, cherish, and receive.
May you release the pressure to be more and instead celebrate who you are today.
May your days be filled with meaningful connections, laughter that reaches your soul, moments of wonder, and deep gratitude for the simple gifts that surround you.
As the sun shines at its fullest, may you remember that your light was never meant to be hidden. May you shine in your own unique way, without apology, without comparison, and without fear.
May this Summer Solstice bring clarity where there has been confusion, hope where there has been doubt, healing where there has been pain, and peace where there has been struggle.
And may you walk into this new season knowing that you are supported, guided, loved, and worthy of every blessing that is finding its way to you.
Happy Summer Solstice. May your summer be filled with light, vitality, joy, growth, rest, and abundant blessings. ☀️💛🌿✨

Love yourself on the bad days, too. 💚
It's easy to love yourself when life feels light. When you're productive, smiling, checking every box, and everything seems to be falling into place.
But the real practice begins on the days when your heart feels heavy.
On the days when grief visits without warning. When anxiety is louder than hope. When your body is tired. When you're overwhelmed, disappointed, or simply doing your best to make it through the day.
Those are the days that need your love the most.
The heart chakra isn't only about giving love to others. It is also about remembering that compassion belongs within. It reminds us that worthiness isn't something to earn through achievement, perfection, or constant strength. It has always lived within you.
Too often, the inner voice becomes the harshest one in the room. A difficult day turns into criticism, guilt, or the feeling of not being enough. But healing asks something different of us. It asks us to meet ourselves with the same tenderness we would offer someone we deeply love.
Place a hand over your heart. Feel its quiet rhythm. That heart has carried you through every heartbreak, every loss, every celebration, every beginning, and every ending. It has never stopped choosing you, even on the days you've struggled to choose yourself.
Maybe today isn't about pushing harder. Maybe today is about softening.
Rest without guilt. Cry without apology. Move slowly if you need to. Ask for help if your heart feels tired.
The heart chakra expands not through perfection, but through kindness, forgiveness, and the courage to stay open—even after life has asked so much of you.
Your hardest days do not make you less lovable. They make you more deserving of your own compassion.
And perhaps that's what healing really is—not becoming someone new, but learning to love the person who has been there all along, through every beautiful and broken moment.
Your heart is still worthy. Especially today.

You never have to apologize here.
Please stop saying, "I'm sorry for crying."
"I'm sorry for talking so much."
"I'm sorry for unloading everything on you."
You don't have to apologize for being human.
I created Seva Reiki to be more than a place where you receive a session. I created it to be a sanctuary. A space where your nervous system can finally soften, where your body doesn't have to stay in survival mode, where your heart can speak without fear, and where your mind can rest from carrying everything alone.
Tears are welcome here.
Silence is welcome here.
Laughter is welcome here.
The stories you've held inside for years are welcome here.
You don't have to arrive "healed," "calm," or "put together." You simply have to arrive as you are.
Holding space for you is not a burden—it is an honor. Witnessing your healing, your vulnerability, and your courage is one of the greatest privileges of my work.
So the next time you find yourself saying, "I'm sorry..." pause.
You don't need to apologize for letting your body finally feel safe enough to release.
That's exactly what this space was created for.

With love, Loredana

The New Moon in Gemini invites us into curiosity, connection, reflection, and new beginnings. Gemini reminds us that healing often starts with awareness—through the words we speak, the stories we tell ourselves, and the conversations we're willing to have.
This is a beautiful time to pause and listen. What part of you is asking to be heard? What ideas have been quietly waiting to grow? What old belief is ready to be rewritten with more compassion and truth?
Tonight, gift yourself a few moments of stillness. Place your feet on the earth, soften your shoulders, and simply be with yourself. You don't need to have all the answers. Sometimes the smallest shift in awareness creates the greatest transformation.
Set an intention. Write it down. Speak it aloud. Then trust that, just like the moon, growth often begins long before we can see it.
May this New Moon bring you clarity, gentle communication, and the courage to welcome new possibilities.

Eight Years of Seva Reiki 💛
Eight years ago, I took a leap of faith and opened the doors to Seva Reiki in the beautiful, historic town of Harmony.
What began as a dream in my heart became something far greater than I could have imagined.
When I came to this country, I carried the hope of building a meaningful life through service, connection, and helping others heal. Seva Reiki became my American Dream—not because of business success, but because it allowed me to create a space where people could feel safe, supported, seen, and cared for.
Over these eight years, I have had the privilege of sitting with people through grief, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, joy, healing, and transformation. Every person who has walked through my door has left an imprint on my heart and taught me something about resilience, courage, and the human spirit.
To my patients: thank you for trusting me with your stories, your healing, and your hearts. You are the reason Seva Reiki exists.
To my amazing community, friends, and family: thank you for believing in me, supporting me, referring your loved ones, sharing my work, and helping this dream grow.
And to my husband, thank you for standing beside me through every challenge, every success, and every step of this journey. Your love and support have meant everything.
Eight years later, I am still deeply grateful, still learning, and still honored every day to do this work.
Thank you for making Seva Reiki part of your lives and for helping this dream flourish here in historic Harmony.
Thank you for eight years of healing, connection, and community—and to all that is yet to come.

Love Loredana 💛

There is something deeply healing about a summer rainstorm.
The air becomes heavy, the sky opens, and the earth receives exactly what it needs. Nature doesn't resist the rain—it welcomes it. And in many ways, our bodies, nervous systems, and energy centers are invited to do the same.
Rain is often connected to the element of water, which is associated with the Sacral Chakra—the energy center of emotions, creativity, movement, and flow. When summer rains arrive, many people notice emotions rising to the surface. Feelings that have been ignored, buried, or pushed aside may suddenly ask for attention.
Just as rain washes dust from the leaves, emotional release can wash accumulated stress from the body and nervous system.
Summer itself is a season of fire, action, growth, and outward energy. The Solar Plexus Chakra is often highly activated during these months, encouraging us to do more, achieve more, and stay busy. Rain creates a natural pause in that energy. It reminds us to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves.
For the nervous system, the sound of rain can be incredibly regulating. The rhythmic pattern of falling water often helps shift us out of fight-or-flight and into a state of rest, safety, and restoration. Many people find themselves breathing deeper, sleeping better, or feeling calmer during and after a rainstorm.
Energetically, rain can support:

Releasing emotional buildup
Calming an overwhelmed nervous system
Softening rigidity and control
Grounding excess mental energy
Reconnecting with intuition and inner wisdom
Creating space for renewal and growth

The next time summer rain arrives, take a moment to step outside, listen to the drops, or simply sit near a window. Ask yourself:
What am I ready to release? What emotions need acknowledgment? Where am I being asked to soften and flow rather than force?
Like the earth, we need periods of sunshine and periods of rain.
Growth requires both.
Allow the rain to cleanse, nourish, and remind you that emotional release is not weakness—it is part of healing.

ROOT CHAKRA, SUMMER ENERGY & WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE AREN'T GROUNDED

Summer brings longer days, more activity, more social gatherings, vacations, celebrations, and often a faster pace of life. While this season is filled with opportunities for joy and expansion, it can also leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves if we aren't staying grounded.

The Root Chakra is the foundation of our energetic system. It is connected to safety, security, stability, trust, belonging, and our connection to the physical world. When the Root Chakra is balanced, we feel present, supported, calm, and able to navigate life's challenges with greater ease.

When the Root Chakra becomes imbalanced or ungrounded, especially during the busy summer months, we may experience:

• Anxiety, worry, or feeling on edge
• Racing thoughts and difficulty focusing
• Feeling overwhelmed by daily responsibilities
• Emotional reactivity or irritability
• Trouble sleeping or fully relaxing
• Fatigue and burnout despite staying active
• Feeling disconnected from our bodies and our needs
• A sense of uncertainty, insecurity, or instability

The fiery energy of summer naturally encourages movement, action, and doing. Without grounding practices, however, we can become scattered, depleted, and disconnected from our inner sense of stability.

Grounding is not about slowing your life down completely. It is about creating a strong foundation so you can fully enjoy life without becoming overwhelmed by it.

Spend time barefoot on the earth. Sit beneath a tree. Listen to the sounds of nature. Rest when your body asks for rest. Nourish yourself with wholesome foods. Feel the support of the ground beneath you and remember that you belong here.

The stronger your roots, the more freely you can grow.

This summer, don't just stay busy—stay grounded.
Your nervous system, body, and spirit all benefit when you take time to reconnect with the Earth. How are you grounding yourself this summer? 🌿☀️

5 Things I No Longer Do as a Reiki Practitioner
After years of practicing Reiki, holding space for hundreds of clients, and walking my own healing journey, there are a few things I no longer do—and letting them go has made me a better practitioner, a healthier human, and a more grounded guide.

1. I don't try to fix people.
Reiki isn't about fixing anyone because people are not broken. My role is not to rescue, save, or heal someone for them. My role is to create a safe space where the body, mind, and spirit can remember their own wisdom and healing capacity.

2. I don't sacrifice myself to help others.
For a long time, I believed being a healer meant always giving. Now I understand that healthy boundaries are sacred. When I care for my own energy, rest, and well-being, I can show up more fully and authentically for the people I serve.

3. I don't pretend to have all the answers.
Healing is a lifelong journey. I am still learning, growing, healing, and evolving too. I don't believe perfection makes someone a good practitioner. Presence, compassion, honesty, and integrity do.

4. I don't ignore the body.
Energy and the physical body are deeply connected. Every emotion, experience, and stressor leaves an imprint on the nervous system. Reiki isn't just about energy—it's about reconnecting with the body, listening to its messages, and creating safety within ourselves.

5. I don't separate healing from everyday life.
Healing isn't something that only happens on a Reiki table. It happens in the way we speak to ourselves, the boundaries we set, the rest we allow, the joy we experience, and the choices we make each day. Healing becomes a way of living, not just a practice.

Over the years, Reiki has taught me that healing is less about becoming someone new and more about returning to who we truly are beneath the stress, fear, grief, expectations, and conditioning.
And that is the space I strive to hold for every person who walks through my door.

What is something you've learned on your own healing journey? I'd love to hear it below.

Anger Is Not the Enemy — It Is a Messenger
In many spiritual spaces, we are taught to push anger away, rise above it, or pretend it isn't there. But anger is not something to fear. Anger is information. Anger is energy. Anger is a sacred messenger asking us to pay attention.
When anger arises, it can often be connected to imbalances within the chakras.
❤️ Root Chakra — Anger may arise when we feel unsafe, unsupported, unstable, or disconnected from our sense of security.
🧡 Sacral Chakra — Unexpressed emotions, wounded relationships, betrayal, or boundaries being crossed can create frustration and resentment.
💛 Solar Plexus Chakra — This is where anger often lives. Feeling powerless, controlled, unseen, criticized, or unable to speak your truth can create a fire within that demands to be acknowledged.
💚 Heart Chakra — Beneath anger is often hurt, grief, disappointment, or heartbreak. Sometimes anger is simply the armor protecting a tender heart.
🩵 Throat Chakra — Unspoken words, swallowed emotions, and years of silencing yourself can build pressure until anger becomes the only voice left speaking.
💙 Third Eye Chakra — Anger may arise when we ignore our intuition or refuse to see a truth that is asking to be recognized.
💜 Crown Chakra — Feeling disconnected from purpose, meaning, or trust in life's unfolding can create frustration and resistance.
The goal is not to get rid of anger.
The goal is to listen.
Ask your anger: What are you trying to protect? What boundary needs honoring? What truth needs to be spoken? What wound needs healing?
When we meet anger with curiosity instead of judgment, it becomes a pathway to healing rather than destruction.
Today, instead of pushing your anger away, sit with it gently. Listen to its message. Beneath the fire, there is wisdom. Beneath the frustration, there is a need. Beneath the anger, there is often a part of you asking to be seen, heard, loved, and honored.
Anger is not the opposite of healing.
Sometimes, anger is where healing begins.
