After undergoing a quad tendon repair, Miguel put in the hard work throughout his recovery and continued pushing himself during work conditioning to get back to his job. He made it back in record time! 💪

Throughout August, our Portland Clinic took on the Dime Challenge to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Each staff member had a bottle to fill with dimes, and once it was full… they got an ice bucket dumped on their head! 🥶😂

This summer, our STAR Physical Therapy - Roane County team is proud to partner with the American Cancer Society, whose mission is to improve the lives of people with cancer and their families through advocacy, research, and patient support, so everyone has the opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.

Most people are surprised to find it doesn’t hurt much. The needles used are very thin, solid, and flexible. You might feel a quick pinch, followed by a brief muscle twitch or a deep ache. That’s actually a good sign it’s working.
