What do you do to take care of your fresh tattoo? I recommending keeping it clean, out of the sun, and moisturizing with a gentle, sensitive skin lotion. I even have tattoo moisturizer and cleanser at my Harrisburg tattoo shop.

Can a medical tattooing really be painful? For many it’s an easy and comfortable procedure. For those who do have sensation in their chest, there are anesthetic options for pain management. While uncommon, if you can’t use anesthetics for medical reasons, the pain is quite manageable.

When you want a few bees tattooed, you have to put them all in different poses! Look at each of their personalities in this tattoo!

You can see the background in the previous tattoo (not my work) had to be incorporated into this one. I appreciated how the previous artist added color and texture. Balancing that in the new one was a fun approach.

What to expect before your 3D Ar**la and ni**le tattoo in Harrisburg, PA

🎉 For many folks this marks the final step in their breast cancer journey. When you have completed your treatments and surgery and have been cleared by your care team you’re ready for your medical tattoo.

The consultation is your time to ask questions and show examples of what you like or how you looked before surgery. I’ll take the time to explain the entire process and also assess your current goals and unique case.

Self care is so important! Before your tattoo procedure you’ll want to make sure you’re hydrated, nourished, well rested, and emotionally prepared.

On the big day you’ll be checked in for your ar**la me ni**le tattoo appointment. From there you’ll change into a medical down from the waist up. Your before photos will be taken, and then measurements and placement of the new ar**la and ni**les follow. A custom mix and palette of pigments will be created and matched for your unique skin tone. The it’s time to tattoos! Once completed you’ll get the final look. Once you are satisfied, photos will be taken and transparent bandages will be applied.
