Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA)

Pennsylvania State Nurses Association (PSNA) Leading, advocating, educating, and connecting with RNs and LPNs across the Commonwealth. We don’t play politics with important public policy issues.

PSNA understands that protecting the interests of nursing professionals and patients is about building and establishing real trust. We educate and inform Pennsylvania’s leaders with researched, reasoned information and facts. Most importantly, we help policy makers assess the impact of their decisions on the people we serve together. For well over 100 years, we’ve followed this principled, professional path to leadership.

Still need the child abuse recognition training required for your healthcare license renewal? It's $40 for non-members, and we notify the state when you've finished. Go to https://psna.expertusone.com/. To see the 2-hour renewal course (or 3-hour initial), you'll need to sign in if you have an account or sign up to create one. Easy!

The deadline to comment is March 2.

Today, the American Nurses Association (ANA) formally submitted its official comment letter to the U.S. Department of Education urging the department to classify post-baccalaureate nursing degrees as “professional” degrees as it implements federal graduate student loan provisions in H.R. 1. ANA calls on the Department of Education to not finalize a rulemaking that would make it harder for the American public to have access to highly educated and trained, licensed, and deeply committed advanced practice nurses.

Submit your public comment before March 2 at RNAction.org.
