Hi guys, it’s been a while since we’ve updated this page. Life has been good, and we’ve been enjoying being back to a sense of “normal.” I’d be lying if I said I don’t still get on edge over the little things…even something like a stomach ache with Asher or an ear ache.

Asher had a UVA day today and we got great news… everything looks good! We’re still keeping an eye on some back pain from where his spine was affected, but lately he’s doing great and truly thriving. His brother loved watching him be so brave today.

We’ll be back in 6 months for another checkup.

10/21/2024

No new lesions!!! His scans showed places where Asher’s spine is still collapsed from his pervious tumors, we’re hoping this will improve with time, but it will never go fully away. He is growing great and isn’t in pain over it so we are happy.

He will have another hearing test soon to check on his ears, and be sure he hasn’t lost anymore hearing. We are so relieved, and thankful. God is so good. Asher you are the bravest boy I know, and such a superhero.

Asher has rescans coming this Friday. Keep Asher and all of us in your thoughts/prayers this week. The anxiety we have leading up to these scans are never easy. Asher thankfully still doesn’t quite understand how important these scans are, which we like it that way. We will do the stressing, and he can continue being the little boy he should be. It’s going to be a long week.

Asher had a follow up earlier this week. He got to bring his baby brother and show him all the brave things he has been through. He was proud to tell him after his pokes that he didn’t have one tear. ❤️ Asher’s counts came back good, & next clinic visit will be be rescans for Asher. We are very confident these will come back great and show no new lesions. Asher is thriving, and has become such a great big brother.

Hi all ! We had such a great time bringing in the new year!! Asher has been doing well. We had such a great time celebrating the new year and we all fell asleep just 15 minutes before the ball dropped.🥹 What can I say we all love our sleep over here…

Asher had a check up today over at UVA. His lab work today was a bit wonky, we will recheck that in a couple weeks to be sure it was just a wonky day. (He is fighting a small virus so we’re hoping that was just that.) He also has been breaking out in a rash, and we haven’t gotten any answers as to what it could be…we’re just hoping these creams that we got kick in eventually.

Asher has proven to be the most brave, strong, and silly boy there is. Today he sat completely still, counted to 3, and sat all by himself to get his lab work. He did not move a muscle. I’ve never thought that would happen, but was so proud that he did that today. It made my momma heart so happy. I’m so excited to see what this new year brings for Asher, and our family. ❤️

Ashers doctor called me today! So far the scans that have come back look good!
No new lesions !!
This great news! We are still waiting on the brain scan to be read. ❤️ His bone marrow has come back a bit brighter then his usual, but we are hopeful this is due to him recovering from his chemo. His spine where places have collapsed are still there, but we’re hoping with time these will heal. He is growing fine and hasn’t complained of any back pain, so we aren’t to worried about this.

Also Asher’s ultrasound looked great and was unremarkable. So far we have great news.

Ashers day of scans is almost over. He has been going since early this morning. We are about to head home, and now we just wait for a call with his results. ❤️

I need big prayers for Asher!!! We need him completely better from this cough, and stuffy nose by Friday. This is very important, so he can have his rescan as scheduled…we need these scans!!❤️

Hi all! It’s been a while since we had a update on my sweet boy. Asher has been doing well. We finally got a date for Asher’s next set of rescans. He will have his sedated MRI next month on the 14th. This is a really important day that will determine what is next for Asher. He has been having some belly pain, which we will at some point have to get a ultrasound to check a few things out.

November 14th will be a big day, and we appreciate all the prayers we can get.

Asher is doing great, and is counting down how many “sleeps” till his special day Friday. He also has gotten some cards, and it has made his evening each time.
