It's nice to be back doing bigger tattoos after the flash special.
This was a pretty fun project. He wants to leave the flames open to add something to them in the future.

Managed 16 tattoos for the fundraiser Wednesday and collected $1300 for Cat's Cradle . I did one more tattoo than the last one, but I didn't have to chip in to make the number even and I didn't have to work far after the deadline we set.

I appreciate everyone coming out and being willing to get the flash. I wish we could do more, but as one person it's not exactly easy to break down, set up, and two a flash in less than 30 minutes. My fiance helping out definitely makes a huge difference though.

If anyone is still interested and couldn't make it on Wednesday, the remaining flash will still be available at the shop by appointment and with a 50/50 donation split.

Just a reminder that tomorrow we'll be doing a $100 flash tattoo special where 80% will be donated to Cat's Cradle !
I wasn't taking requests for flash, but someone made a very good suggestion and there's a piece I just added today if you can find it in the photo and not in the previous previews.

My client got called into work early during our appointment so had to come back for some details. This is basically a healed photo except for the minor details on the nose, lips, collar, and white highlights.
I also didn't get a great photo because it doesn't look quite so bright and washed out in person.

Added a vegvisir to the top of this Odin piece we did a couple of weeks ago to round off this sleeve so everything else is healed. Sometimes the photos I get of tattoos seem a little light and I get worried that the lighter tones of black and gray will fade as they heal judging by the photos, but they've been doing great recently.

Last session on this underwater calf!
This was a ton of fun. A lot of people don't want to commit to something this big or backgrounds, but I think it's pretty evident how much it adds to the contrast and vibrancy.

We touched up this Jormungandr I originally did a few years ago. It's a subject and design I really enjoyed and thought would benefit from some technique changes I've made recently. We touched up another one, but I'll make a separate post for it.
