Strong partnerships are at the heart of great EMS care. Through our EMS Spotlight series, we're honored to recognize outstanding professionals from the EMS agencies we work with across the region. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to patients help make our collective mission possible every day.
"I would like to nominate Lt. Bree Eichler in recognition of her outstanding commitment to clinical excellence, the mission of our organization, and the continued development of those around her. Lt. Eichler consistently demonstrates a high level of clinical knowledge, sound judgment, and professionalism in her role as a paramedic supervisor. She leads by example on calls and maintains a strong focus on providing high-quality patient care while supporting the crews she supervises. Her commitment to the mission is evident not only in her clinical practice, but also in the way she approaches the responsibilities and challenges of her supervisory role.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Lt. Eichler brings a positive and approachable attitude to the workplace. She is someone others can rely on for guidance, support, and mentorship. She takes an active interest in training and education, helping to foster an environment where providers are encouraged to learn, improve, and maintain a high standard of care. What makes Lt. Eichler particularly deserving of this recognition is her ability to balance the demands of an administrative role while remaining engaged with the clinical and operational aspects of EMS. She understands that effective leadership extends beyond managing responsibilities—it also means being present for her personnel, supporting their development, and keeping patient care and the mission at the forefront.
