This Labor Day weekend turned very literal for me (Dr. Worley) as I labored and birthed our miscarried baby this morning (12-13 weeks along). We learned she was a girl! We had already given the name Joy after finding out a few weeks ago… 💖

It did result in a trip to the ER to manage some symptoms and a short surgery to be thorough. I’ll be resting through this weekend other than having a small burial service to celebrate this brief but precious life.

And I hope you have a wonderful plans to celebrate life too! Let this be a reminder that YOUR LIFE MATTERS!

Birth is such a beautiful thing and such a miracle every time it goes they way it should! With every day you get I hope it reinforces that because you exist You have a purpose and You matter! You are loved by God and His story is the best one you can allow to be written 💝 Just ask Him to. 😉
