Accountability Day 2… 💗
Taking accountability for my healing means making a decision I should have made a long time ago: I am no longer putting myself last.
If I’m going to start a movement, lead , and be the mascot for , it has to begin with me prioritizing my own healing, health, and wellness.
A car accident in June left me with herniated discs causing spinal cord and nerve compression. I turned 39 in July, and after three months of chronic pain, I finally said, “I will not turn 40 as a broken version of who I’m meant to be!”
For too long, I’ve let life’s demands push my wellness to the bottom of the list. 🫠 It’s time to practice what I preach, because has far too much life to live and far too much left to do! 🙌🏻
Since Hubby got me that TikTok-y vibrating treadmill thingy 😂, I’m starting with small, intentional steps toward moving more and feeling stronger…
Now that I have answers about what’s causing my pain, I’m making room for the care, patience, and consistency my healing deserves.
Being the patient sucks. 😩
But experiencing this firsthand has deepened my understanding of what my own patients go through in ways I couldn’t fully appreciate before...
The pain.
The frustration.
The longing to feel like yourself again…
I understand it on a completely different level now.
Here’s to Day 2 of taking accountability.
Making space to heal, restore, and grow stronger.
Finding my way back to a vibrant, abundant life…
One day at a time.
One promise to myself at a time. 🦩✨
