From the Inside Inc. Trauma Informed Coach
Reiki | Somatic Massage | Breathwork | Sound Bath | Meditation | RYT•Yoga Teacher What’s my “why”?

Hi, I’m Tiffany Synnestvedt—a holistic coach, healer, bodyworker, and leader of women’s circles. For over 20 years, I’ve supported people on their journey to wellness through bodywork, energy healing, and personal growth. For more than 30 years, I’ve been a mother to eight beautiful children and a "momma" to many more—roles that have deeply shaped who I am. In September 2019, I became a certified

Reiki Master Teacher, deepening my commitment to healing and transformation. I was raised by a mother struggling with heroin addiction, and trauma shaped much of my childhood and teen years. I witnessed my biological mother fight her way to sobriety, and through her journey, I discovered the profound importance of women’s circles and the life-giving force of powerful, “mother bear” energy. As a young teen, I made a promise to myself: I would dedicate my life to making a difference for women and children. That promise became the foundation of everything I do. My work is a blend of intuitive massage, integrative Gestalt coaching, Reiki, and equine-assisted therapy. I specialize in supporting women navigating trauma, early addiction recovery, and major life transitions. I hold space for healing that honors the mind, body, and soul—because I believe true transformation must reach all three. For six years, I coached in a premier leadership development program, guiding individuals into deeper self-awareness and helping them rise as strong, authentic leaders. My own practice continues to evolve, weaving together tools from coaching, spirituality, and somatic healing to meet each person with presence, care, and clarity. My path became even more personal when my son suffered a traumatic brain injury. That experience reawakened my trust in something greater than myself. It brought deep humility—and a not-so-gentle reminder that we cannot walk this journey alone. I leaned on a powerful community of healers and drew from every tool I had—from traditional medicine to holistic therapies. That chapter transformed what I believed was possible in healing, both for my son and for myself. It changed how I show up—as a mother, a practitioner, and a human being. Whether I’m working one-on-one, leading women’s circles, or offering energy work and spiritual guidance, my intention remains the same: to help you feel seen, supported, and empowered on your path. This work isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am. I’m here to walk beside you as you come home to yourself.

We spend so much time preparing ourselves for what might go wrong.

We brace. We overthink. We rehearse conversations that haven’t happened yet. We try to protect ourselves from outcomes that may never come.

But fear isn’t a prediction.

Sometimes the thing that scares you is also the thing that changes your life.

So if you’re going to imagine the worst-case scenario, maybe give the best-case scenario a little airtime too.

What if it turns out better than you imagined? 💜

Last night, under the Sturgeon Moon. 🌕🔥🥁

August’s full moon is traditionally known as the Sturgeon Moon, named for the time of year when sturgeon were abundant in the Great Lakes and other North American waters. These ancient fish have survived for millions of years, which is why the Sturgeon Moon has come to symbolize strength, resilience, abundance and transformation.

And maybe that’s exactly why gathering in circle under a full moon feels so powerful.

A drumming circle isn’t about being musical or knowing how to drum. It’s about rhythm. Connection. Community. Getting out of your head and back into your body.

There’s something primal about sitting around a fire, feeling the vibration of the drums, moving, breathing, laughing and sharing space with other people. The full moon simply gives us a moment to pause—to notice what has come to fullness in our lives, what we’re grateful for, and what we might finally be ready to release.

Last night felt like a little bit of all of it.

Fire. Rhythm. Community. Release.

Maybe healing doesn’t always have to look like talking about what happened.

Sometimes it looks like sitting around a fire under a full moon and remembering what it feels like to be fully alive. 🌕🔥🥁

I think there’s something about being in your 50s that no one really prepares you for.

You think you’re supposed to be missing who you used to be… and then one day you realize you actually like who you’re becoming.

We’ve lived enough to know what matters. We’ve lost things, rebuilt things, changed our minds, changed our lives, learned some hard lessons and gotten a whole lot less interested in proving ourselves to anyone.

There’s more confidence now. Better boundaries. More freedom. More appreciation for the little things. And yes, significantly fewer f*cks to give about things that never deserved our energy in the first place. 😂

Maybe this isn’t the part where we start fading into the background.

Maybe this is the part where we finally become fully ourselves.

And if you’re somewhere in your 50s too… I hope you’re starting to feel it. ❤️

The sun doesn’t have to be shining for you to have a beautiful day.

Some days the light comes from somewhere else — a good laugh, a deep breath, a little peace or simply remembering how damn good it is to be alive.

Find the light. Even when it has to come from the inside. 🤍

Sometimes the threat is over, but your body hasn’t gotten the message yet.

So you brace. You shut down. You overthink. You react quickly or pull away completely—not because you’re broken, but because your nervous system learned that staying ready was the safest way to survive.

Healing creates space between the spark and the fire. Space to breathe. Space to notice what’s actually happening. Space to choose from the present instead of letting the past choose for you.

You don’t have to burn down the life you’re building just to feel safe. You can learn to feel safe while you’re living it. 🔥

This is the work we do—from the inside.

Sometimes healing isn’t a dramatic breakthrough.

Sometimes it’s the pause before you react.
The moment you recognize that the past is speaking.
The choice to stay with what is steady—even when chaos feels more familiar.

Your triggers are not your fault. They were often created in moments when your nervous system was simply trying to protect you. But healing means learning that not every alarm is telling you the truth.

You don’t have to shame yourself into changing. You can understand why you respond the way you do, meet yourself with compassion and still choose differently.

And little by little, peace stops feeling unfamiliar and begins to feel like home. 🤍

Healing begins From the Inside.

Sometimes the loudest place in the world is inside your own head.

When your thoughts are racing, your chest feels tight, and everything feels like too much, come back to what’s underneath you.

Bare feet.
Grass.
Earth.
Breath.

You don’t have to figure everything out right now. You don’t have to know what happens next.

Maybe you’re not falling apart.
Maybe you’re just tired.
Maybe you’re overwhelmed.
Maybe you need a minute to come back to yourself.

Breathe slowly.

This moment won’t last forever.

You’re going to be okay. 💜

Somewhere along the way, I stopped wishing things had happened differently.

Not because they didn’t hurt.
Not because I wouldn’t have chosen an easier road.
But because I finally started recognizing the woman who came out the other side.

She loves deeper.
She trusts herself more.
She knows when to hold on and when to let go.
She’s a little wilder, a lot wiser and far less interested in proving herself to anyone.

There are pieces of me I had to lose to find this version of myself.

And I really fu***ng like her. 🤍
