Heavy
Who knew there was another force on Earth stronger than the weight of gravity? A force that keeps you in a state of disbelief due to the current events in this world. It goes by many names- doubt, disbelief, unworthiness, terror, anxiety, fearfulness, agitation, etc. All these names can be narrowed down to one complex force: fear.
Fear weighs the Earth’s vibrational frequency down. It is heavier than gravity in a vibrational sense. We are beautiful, illuminous, magnetic beings. Designed by the Creator to live and experience life as we know and comprehend it to be. If you’re stuck in the frequency of fear, you just need to change/raise your vibration. A vibrational force that is the strongest in the entire Universe: love.
When I was turning five years old, the family chose to go to Olive Garden for my birthday dinner. Once the dinner was over, my grandma was holding my hand as we walked out of the restaurant. She told me that I had a contemplative expression on my face. When I was questioned, I looked up at her and told her that I was really going to miss being four.
I didn’t know it then, but that feeling wasn’t about age at all. It was about change. It was about something ending before I felt ready. It was about realizing, even for a moment, that nothing stays exactly the same- not time, not people, not versions of ourselves, not the world.
That heaviness followed me quietly into adulthood. It showed up in moments of uncertainty, in the fear of choosing wrong, in the ache of outgrowing places, people, and identities that once felt safe. Fear has a way of disguising itself also as logic, responsibility, or realism. It tells us to brace, to shrink, to prepare for loss before it arrives.
But fear isn’t truth- It’s weight.
And weight can be set down.
I refuse to give in to those lies that are fed to us. We are powerful and we are strong.
Raising your vibration doesn’t mean bypassing pain or pretending life is light all the time. It means noticing when you’re carrying something that no longer belongs to you. It means choosing curiosity over panic, presence over projection. It means remembering that the same child who mourned being four also learned how to become five.
Growth has always been uncomfortable. Expansion has always felt heavy at first.
And yet- here we are. Still learning. Still becoming. Still capable of choosing love over fear, again and again.
