🧡💙 MEET MRS. KENYA, OUR NEWEST RBT! 💙🧡

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Mrs. Kenya, the newest Registered Behavior Technician to join the Colors for Autism family!

Mrs. Kenya brings nearly seven years of experience in the ABA field, along with a passion for supporting children and families that is deeply personal. As an autism mom, she has seen firsthand how much understanding, compassion, and the right support can mean for a child and their family.

One of her favorite parts of being an RBT is building meaningful connections with children, celebrating their progress, and supporting families throughout their journey. She believes every child is unique and considers it a privilege to be part of their growth. 🧩

Mrs. Kenya is also continuing her education and is currently pursuing two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Music Business at Full Sail University and one in Psychology at Walden University. 🎓

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her best friend and husband, Cameo (Cam), and their four boys. Together, they enjoy live music and concerts, movies, and fishing. 🎶🎬🎣

We are so excited to welcome Mrs. Kenya to Colors for Autism and look forward to the experience, heart, and dedication she will bring to the children and families we serve. 🧡💙

Welcome to the team, Mrs. Kenya! 🎉

Colors for Autism is growing! 💙🧡

We’re excited to welcome Lakelyn Luke, BCBA, to the Colors for Autism team! Lakelyn brings four years of experience in ABA, including experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and has been practicing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for nearly a year.

Lakelyn was inspired to become a BCBA after discovering a career that combined two things she loves: helping others and science. Her favorite part of working with her clients is celebrating every achievement, no matter how big or small. She also loves partnering with families to find strategies that support their child while fitting naturally into their everyday lives.

She is especially passionate about helping children strengthen their social skills and communication, build greater independence, and gain confidence in themselves. For Lakelyn, one of the most rewarding parts of her work is watching a child accomplish something that once seemed difficult or out of reach and seeing their families, teachers, and friends recognize that progress along the way. 💙

Outside of ABA, Lakelyn enjoys spending time with her dogs, working out, cooking, crocheting, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

As Colors for Autism continues to grow, we’re excited to welcome professionals who share our passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. We’re so happy to have Lakelyn joining us and can’t wait for our families to get to know her! 🧩

Welcome to the team, Lakelyn! 💙🧡

✨ Please Help Us Welcome Our Newest Registered Behavior Technician! ✨

We are excited to officially welcome Courtney Anderson, RBT, to the Colors for Autism team! 💙🧩🧡

Courtney has been a Registered Behavior Technician for five and a half years and has dedicated her career to helping children grow, learn, and reach their fullest potential. She is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized care and building meaningful relationships with the children and families she serves.

One of the most rewarding parts of her work is witnessing nonverbal children develop communication skills, helping children achieve important milestones such as potty training, and teaching daily living skills that promote greater independence. She also enjoys partnering with parents by providing practical strategies they can use at home to reduce challenging behaviors and support their child’s continued success outside of therapy.

Courtney believes that making a positive difference in the lives of children and their families is the greatest reward, and it is what inspires her every day.

Outside of work, Courtney enjoys spending time at home cooking, keeping her home organized, and relaxing with some well-deserved self-care.

We are proud to have Courtney as part of the Colors for Autism family and look forward to the positive impact she will continue to make in the lives of the children and families we serve.

💙🧡💚 Please join us in giving Courtney a warm welcome!

Community. Awareness. Purpose. 💙

We had an amazing time at the Autism Awareness Festival connecting with families, sharing resources, and creating a fun space for kids to play and be themselves.

From face painting to hands-on activities, moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Moments like this help bridge the gap with awareness as we move together toward change! We’re grateful for every conversation, every smile, and every family that stopped by our table. 🤍

Special thank you to Anchor of Hope Foundation for hosting such an impactful event, H&H Creations for our stickers and business cards, and Through MyMy Eyez, LLC for bringing our shirts to life. We appreciate your support! 🙌🏾

Proud of this team every step of the way.

💙 Simple ways to support your child at home

Small changes can make a big difference in your child’s day to day success.

Here are a few simple strategies you can try:

• Use clear and simple language when giving directions
• Keep routines consistent to reduce stress and confusion
• Praise and reinforce positive behaviors immediately
• Give choices to encourage independence
• Break tasks into smaller, manageable steps

Every child learns differently, and support looks different for every family.

At Colors for Autism, we help children build skills that carry over into everyday life.

If you have questions or are looking for support, we are here for you.
