Upcoming diagnostic clinic in West Lafayette for individuals (ages 18 months-20 years old) who may be experiencing symptoms or concerns related to Autism, ADHD, ADD, ODD, or other developmental, behavioral, or mental health diagnoses.

📍 Location: West Lafayette, Indiana
📅 Thursday, December 10 — All Day
📅 Friday, December 11 — Morning

This clinic is intended for individuals who are seeking an evaluation or have concerns about a possible diagnosis.

Scheduling and appointment times will be determined after the intake process is completed. Completing this form expresses your interest in being considered for a clinic appointment; it does not guarantee a scheduled appointment.

We accept commercial insurance and most Medicaid plans. Insurance eligibility and coverage will be verified as part of the intake and scheduling process.

How We Talk Matters.

The way we talk to families and to others who have a child with support needs truly matters.

Some of the language we have been taught within the ABA field can unintentionally create stigma, shame, or hurt for the very people we are here to support.

Words have an impact. What we say can deeply affect how a person and their family feel, experience care, and see themselves.

Let’s challenge the language we’ve been taught and practice neuro-affirming care rooted in compassion, dignity, respect, and understanding.

At Behavioral Therapy Solutions, we practice assent and assent-based care within our programming because every learner deserves to have their voice, preferences, and comfort respected.

So, what does assent mean?

Assent is a learner’s willingness to participate and engage in an activity, intervention, or teaching opportunity. It means we are not just asking, “How can we get a child to complete a task?” but instead asking, “How can we create an environment where the child feels safe, supported, and motivated to participate?”

Within our programming, we:
✨ Listen to communication—both verbal and nonverbal
✨ Honor appropriate requests for breaks or pauses
✨ Follow the learner’s motivation and interests
✨ Create meaningful reinforcement opportunities
✨ Adjust our approach when something is not working for the learner
✨ Teach communication skills that allow learners to advocate for themselves
