Writing this from Peru on a medical mission trip, and I’ve been thinking all week about something we don’t talk about enough: parasites. 🙏

Here’s what surprises people—you don’t have to leave the country to be exposed. Pets, undercooked food, water, gardening, plain old everyday life. It’s more common than most folks realize. And the signs are easy to brush off: fatigue, bloating, skin issues, restless sleep.

There’s more than one way to address them. The conventional route is a prescription anti-parasitic—one short course, targets a specific organism, works fast but can be hard on the system. The other approach is gentler and more gradual: natural protocols that support the body’s own gut and drainage pathways over several weeks, rather than hitting hard all at once.

Neither is “right” or “wrong”—they just work differently, and which one fits depends on the person and the situation.

Something to be aware of, wherever your gut health journey takes you. 💛

What an absolutely beautiful day at the Spark Community Preschool Graduation. 💙

As Board President, having the privilege of welcoming families and watching our Class of 2026 cross that stage is one of the greatest honors I know. Every one of these children has worked so hard to get here, and watching them stand up smiling, singing, and celebrating all they’ve accomplished is something I’ll carry with me for a long time.

Spark exists to serve children with autism and developmental delays, and what happens inside those walls is nothing short of remarkable. To our teachers, therapists, RBTs, and entire Spark team—thank you for meeting each child exactly where they are and helping them grow in ways their families were told might not be possible. Your patience, your love, and your belief in these kids changes lives.

To our parents and families, thank you for trusting Spark with your children. We see how hard you work and how much you love them. And to our graduates: we could not be more proud of you. Watch out world—here they come!

So proud. So grateful. Praising God for this community and all He’s growing here. 🎓

⏰ Final Call:
The Legacy of Healing Scholarship — Applications Close Soon!

Back in January, I opened applications for the 2026 "Legacy of Healing: The Dr. Stephanie Thompson Nursing Scholarship" as part of my birthday tradition — and now we're coming down to the wire.
If you're a Heber Springs High School senior with a heart for nursing, this is your final call to apply. Don't let this one slip by because you waited too long or talked yourself out of it.
Every year, I get the privilege of reading applications from students who feel that same pull I felt back in the day — the calling to care for people in their hardest moments, to be a steady presence, to heal. As a proud HSHS Class of 1998 graduate, presenting this $500 award at the spring awards ceremony is genuinely one of the highlights of my year.
Nursing gave me purpose, community, and a career I love. If that calling is tugging at you too, I want to hear your story.

🎓 Who: HSHS seniors pursuing nursing
💰 Award: $500, presented at the spring awards ceremony
📝 Apply here: https://forms.gle/NfJb9D8JScW2nPrV9
⏳ Hurry — applications close soon!

One more ask: please share this post. Tag a senior, send it to a parent, drop it in a group chat. The right student might be one share away from seeing this.
Here's to raising up the next generation of nurses in our community. 💙

Your daily coffee might be working against you ☕👀

Most coffee shop drinks are loaded with hidden sugar, extra calories, and ingredients your body doesn’t love… and that afternoon crash? Not normal.

Here’s the difference 👇
✨ Clean coffee option:
✔️ Smooth, steady energy
✔️ Antioxidants
✔️ Little to no sugar
✔️ No crash

🚫 Typical coffee drinks:
❌ 45–60g sugar
❌ 300+ calories
❌ Quick spike → HARD crash

Real life moment… I drink the Bold coffee and it’s SO good 🙌
Simple swap, big difference.

If you’re dealing with fatigue, brain fog, or energy dips… this is one of the easiest things to clean up in your routine 💛

Sometimes it’s not about doing more… it’s about doing better.

Want help figuring out what your body actually needs for real energy (not just caffeine)? I’ve got you 👏
