Since Kirk has relocated to Hebron, we're going to let this page go "dormant." We don't want to delete it for various reasons, so we're just going to pin this post to the top with all the current contact information.

If you haven't already heard the news, BassAckward Studios will be relocating to Hebron on February 1st. Long story short? After 12 years, the commute to Dickinson is getting tiresome, and a really great space opened up in the town where Kirk actually lives. Make no mistake, the last 12 years of being part of this tattoo family has been nothing short of exceptionally wonderful. Leaving this collaboration with Crystal, Erin, and Ryan is the hardest part of this decision to relocate. We truly, truly love this crew.

Kirk will be finishing out the month of January in Dickinson; all his January openings are now full. All appointments scheduled for February 1 and beyond will be at our new location at 811 1/2 Main Ave in Hebron. Kirk can be texted directly at 701-471-0836 for appointment scheduling.

We want to thank all of you for your friendship and support; opening our doors in Dickinson in 2010 was one of the best decisions we've made in all our years of business. We hope that those of you who are Kirk's clients (or future clients!) will take that little half-hour trip east to continue to see Kirk. And maybe buy some pottery from Gretchen's side of the studio. :)

***Edited to add that YES, BassAckward Studios gift certificates will of course be valid at the new location. :)

Erin would like to pass along her new number: 701-260-8780. This number is just for questions regarding piercings, and setting up appointments for piercings. She is still "out" until further notice, but this will be a quicker way for her to get back to you. Calls or texts. You can still leave messages for her at the shop, but this is just another way to get ahold of her. :)

The new protocols are now on BassAckward Studios' website. These policies are "studio-wide", which means these apply to In the Flesh, BassAckward Studios, and Wicked E's Piercing. Our stricter policies are to keep YOU as safe as possible!

As of today, May 1st, BassAckward is open by appointment only. In the Flesh and Wicked E's are still waiting for PPE availability. Please be patient with us!

An important notice from Erin:

To my valued clients,
I'd like to give everyone an update about my present situation. I am currently waiting for shipments of PPE to arrive. Due to nation wide shortages, deliveries are taking far longer than normal. As a result, I will not be opening for business until my equipment arrives. I do not have an exact reopening date at this point. I'm hopeful that it will be soon.
I know everyone is anxious to come back to the shop. Please know that I did not make this decision lightly. Safety is my number one priority. I perform a large number of facial, oral, and nasal piercings, and want to minimize transmission risk of Covid-19 as much as I possibly can. With my client volume, I need to wait to reopen until my PPE arrives and I can guarantee my clients the safest possible environment.
I want to thank everyone for their patience and understanding. I can't wait to get back to work and see all of you. Stay safe, and hopefully I'll see you soon!
