Finch and Fen Creating small batch, hand crafted herbal medicinals from locally sourced plants. Building community around living in rhythm with the earth's cycles.

Creating space for others to gain confidence in their own bodies' ability to heal. Wild Earth Herbals has evolved from a small brick and mortar shop in downtown Spartanburg, SC, to an online store that provides traditionally prepared herbal wellness products all over the country. In addition to selling our handcrafted products, we teach private local classes and provide one on one wellness consultations-either via email and phone or in person. We provide affordable herbs and products, emphasizing healthy nutrition and lifestyle choices first. We support local and regional growers, farmers, artisans and plant communities. We believe ecological and economic sustainability is best accomplished through bio-regionalist practices. We honor the plants as teachers and uphold strict ethical standards regarding the harvest and use of herbs.

When both you and your partner have been thrift fiends for the better part of 30 years, you never have to go shopping outside of your house when you’re adding a space or changing things up in your home.

Every single thing in this photo was either thrifted, gifted, or found (except for the espresso machine, candle, and water kettle).
I wanted to open up some space in our kitchen, so I moved our coffee and tea making supplies into the dining room. It really is fun roaming around the house looking for items that would complement the vision that I had.

We had such a blast at the Autumn Equinox 2026 Saturday! Chance demonstrated how to sift worm compost, LJ ran a temporary tattoo station, and I got to chat to some amazing people about herbalism and autumnal foraging. Even though the weather was sketchy, this was one of the better events. I’ve talked to. Everyone was so engaging and amazing!

I’m coming up to my two year anniversary of my spontaneous subdural hematoma. In the first picture, looking back-you can see how much pain I was in.
I spent 6 weeks trying to find an answer as to why my head was hurting so much. It progressively got worse over the months and a half. It took three dr visits to finally get a CT scan. By this point, it was acute on top of a chronic bleed, 18 mm thick and shifted my brain 14 mm to the left.
On this eve of my 48th solar return, I’m still so surprised that I survived. I definitely notice a difference in my cognitive function now, but that could also just be my age 🤪
