RotaCare NY

RotaCare facilitates a free health center run entirely by volunteers to provide primary care and medication to uninsured and financially qualified individuals

The health center, located in Uniondale, has a rotating team of approximately 100 physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, translators and administrative personnel who donate their time and talents to provide vital health care for 1,800 patients each year.

🎉 Congratulations to Amor on an Outstanding Achievement! 🎉

RotaCare is proud to celebrate our nurse volunteer, Amor, who was awarded the Dr. Caroline Austin-Mattison Scholarship on October 17, 2026, at the Greater New York City Black Nurses Association (GNYCBNA) Scholarship & Award Gala! 🏆

Amor was recognized for her scholastic leadership at Helene Fuld College of Nursing and her contributions to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) and clinical nursing at RotaCare.

Since joining RotaCare as a volunteer in April 2026, Amor has brought incredible energy, dedication, and enthusiasm to our clinic. Working alongside Corine, our CQI Director, she has played an instrumental role in supporting our work with the American Heart Association and our quality assurance programs.

As Amor looks toward a future as a Nursing Educator or Advanced Practice Nurse, with a special focus on Patient Blood Management, we are excited to see all that she will accomplish in her nursing career.

As her RotaCare director Peggy shared, “We are so very lucky to have Amor as part of our RotaCare team!!” ❤️

🎶 RotaCare’s 2nd Annual Music Bingo… Oh, What a Night! 🎶

What an incredible evening filled with great music, lots of laughs, delicious food and drinks, and wonderful company! 🎵✨

A huge thank you to all of our amazing supporters who joined us and helped make our 2nd Annual Music Bingo such a fun and memorable night. Your continued support means so much to RotaCare and helps us continue our mission of providing care to those in need. ❤️

We also had three fantastic Super Raffles, with some very lucky winners taking home New York Knicks tickets, Lottery tickets, and tickets to see the Radio City Rockettes! 🎟️🏀💰🎄

We are so grateful to everyone who came out, played along, sang along, and made the night such a success.
