A Balanced Approach LLC A Balanced Approach LLC provides in-home ABA services in Henderson, South (east or west) Las Vegas & Boulder City.

I have worked in the Autism Spectrum Disorder field for 20 years now. I started as a teacher assistant, moved into teaching, then classroom consulting, then the private arena. I’ve now worked with kids aged 3-16, in homes, schools and clinics, and I still love what I do!- but I want to by modeling more of “today’s ABA”- a compassionate, ethical, flexible, big picture, whole-family kind o

f Applied Behavior Analysis. There are massive gaps between 1:1 therapy and school, and I have a strong desire to bridge those gaps. I want to enmesh my teaching background with my ABA experience, and help more kids be more successful in doing so. I also want to provide more flexible services to families, because full-time, clinic-based services don’t work for everyone, and honestly- aren’t always needed. Therefore, the goal of A Balanced Approach is to balance home, school, and community as well as 1:1 services, small group and large group services. In addition to intensive family training and IEP advocacy, I am hoping to help families determine the creative combination of services and settings that work best for them and will ultimately help everyone achieve a better quality of life.

🍳 FEAT Spectrum Connects Friendship Program – Cooking Class Series 🍓

Our 3rd Teen & Adult Cooking Class is happening Saturday, May 30th, and we are excited to continue building independence one recipe at a time.

This sensory-friendly class helps teens and adults with autism strengthen:

🩷Autism Sibling Support Meeting🩷

We understand the challenges of Autism and the impact on the entire family, including siblings of children with Autism. This meeting was designed to support siblings and provide a safe, welcoming environment for them to share, feel supported and meet other siblings.

▶Please note that siblings will meet with the therapist together while parents and caregivers wait in the lobby.

The FEAT Sibling Support Meeting is hosted in partnership with Foundations Counseling Center. Siblings ages 7-15 are welcome!
