The custom-made prescription hearing aids that we have the labs create for us to our specifications will fit perfectly in your ear canals and can be smaller than a coin. Like contact lenses for your ears. In fact, they are so small that they look identical side-by-side, and are therefore color-coded to make sure patients don’t try to insert them in the wrong ear. Once inserted, the colored part is inside of your canal. And because they are custom-made to the exact shape of the inside of your ear canal, there is no way for you to push them in TOO far and hurt yourself. Not only are they made to the exact shape and curvature of your ear canals, but also with the exact microcomponents needed to create your exact prescription. A built-in vent made specifically for your prescription requirements keeps you from feeling plugged up. The result is perfection. We are honored to have been nominated, and to have made it to the final voting round, for "Best Hearing Aid/Hearing Specialist Center" in the Mohawk Valley. Even though we will probably not win because we are competing with voting numbers for hearing centers in much larger populated areas such as the city of Utica, we are humbled that so many of the people we care for have made us come this far in the Best of Mohawk Valley Community's Choice Program. Regardless of how much smaller our local community is compared to the city, we take pride in being the best so that our local population can have great results without having to drive to Utica. But precisely because it is a small town, we also give you personal service with truly honest care and integrity that you just don't find in the large cities of today.
