BELLA…RETURNED FOR LOVING TOO MUCH.
Yes, you read that right.

This gentle, 5-year-old Maine C**n was brought back to the shelter because she wanted to curl up too close to her human at night. Her only “fault”? Wanting to feel safe and cherished beside the person she loved most.

It wasn’t because she scratched furniture.
It wasn’t because she didn’t get along with other pets.
It wasn’t because she caused any mess.

She was returned because her need for affection — for warmth, for connection — was “too much.”

Now, Bella curls up on her soft blanket every day, trembling and confused, quietly longing for the love she once knew. She startles at sudden movements, barely lifts her head when people walk by. Her little world has been turned upside down… again.

This sweet soul doesn’t need much — just someone who understands that love and closeness aren’t indulgences. They’re what make a home feel like home.

Bella deserves a forever home where cuddles are welcomed without limits, where “too much affection” simply doesn’t exist. 🖤
