Meet Karen 👋

Karen joined the cannabis industry in 2025 and quickly fell in love with helping patients navigate the plant and discover what works best for them. A self-described “forever student,” she’s passionate about learning and sharing knowledge along the way.

Her biggest piece of advice? “THC is NOT the end all — watch your terpenes!” Right now she’s loving The Chineal from River Remedy and has been especially interested in the terpene farnesene lately. Flower is her go-to, and she gravitates toward indica and indica-leaning hybrids.

Karen says what motivates her most is “the possibilities!” She loves being part of an evolving industry and enjoys hearing when patients have positive experiences with her recommendations.

Outside the dispensary, Karen is a certified SCUBA Divemaster, Master Gardener, avid reader, proud band mom, and longtime World of Warcraft player. She’s been married to her husband Andy for 29 years and shares her home with four dogs: Oliver, Schnitzel, Goose, and Maverick.

Meet Brier 👋

Brier has been part of the cannabis industry for 3 years — all of them with Herbal Alchemy — and her passion for what she does is clear. As General Manager, she loves getting to know both the patients and the products, and in her own words: “Herbal Alchemy is my passion!”

Her favorite terpene is myrcene for its relaxing qualities, and her current go-to strain is Cherry Pie. She tends to gravitate toward a more relaxing experience, and her top advice for patients is one worth remembering: “Don’t rely on the THC% to determine your purchase!”

What motivates Brier most is helping people improve their quality of life and watching patients step away from big pharma medications. Seeing that transformation firsthand is what keeps her going.

Outside of work, Brier enjoys relaxing at home with her two dogs, S**a and Freya. She’s also a fan of Stranger Things and Hunting Wives — and has a fun fact that might surprise people: she once trained to be a wrestler under Brian Lawler.

She’s a night owl who runs on Coca-Cola, and dreams of a beach vacation in Jamaica. And when it comes to comfort food, it’s chicken and dumplings every time.

Meet Tim 👋

Our assistant manager, Tim, has been in the cannabis industry for 3 years, with the last 2 spent right here at Herbal Alchemy. What he enjoys most about his work is helping patients find just the right flower for their needs and hearing about the positive results when they come back in.

His favorite terpene is myrcene for its heavily relaxing qualities, and his current go-to is Delta Buds Quicks 3.5g. He tends to gravitate toward a relaxing experience, and his top advice for patients is simple but effective: “Always write down the terpene profiles of your favorite strains.”

When asked what motivates him to work in cannabis, his answer was simple and sincere: the community.

Outside of the dispensary, Tim enjoys playing Call of Duty, listening to 90s country and alternative music, and spending time at home with his cats. His favorite food is anything off the grill, he runs on energy drinks, and somehow manages to be both a morning person and a night owl.

Meet Autum 🌿

Autumn is part of our budtending team and has been in the cannabis industry for about 9 months, all of it right here with us. She’s all about helping patients find what works for them, especially when it comes to winding down and getting real relief.

She tends to gravitate toward heavier, more relaxing experiences, and right now she’s been enjoying Purple Glue. When it comes to terpenes, humulene is one she personally enjoys, but she’s always focused on learning what each patient is looking for and helping them find the right fit.

One piece of advice she always shares: don’t knock it till you try it. Everyone’s experience is different, and sometimes the best option isn’t what you expect at first.

Outside of work, Autum loves spending time with her family and being outdoors. She’s also a natural people person; she genuinely enjoys connecting, talking, and making others feel comfortable when they come in. At home, she’s got a full crew with dogs Coco & Chop, and two fish.

What she loves most about being here is simple: helping people. Whether it’s easing discomfort or just making someone’s day a little better, that’s what keeps her motivated.
