One lucky gal. It’s rare that you can say “She was at my birth and I was at hers”. We have really stuck like glue! Hannah is the rock I didn’t know I needed in my first Homebirth- we had never even met. She came as an extra set of hands and I still remember her loving touch. Proud to be a team and serve families together. 🥹💓

Hannah Mills Leach and I really enjoyed the Baptist staff during this birth. Thank you to our nurse for being team doula and keeping our space calm. She even french braided our client’s hair.

If you’re not feeling the whole encapsulate your placenta thing- take her home and plant her under a tree! You can even save it in the freezer until you’re ready. Don’t let it end up in the trash or given to biotech companies 😅

Every once in a while, a baby arrives with a little surprise!! A true knot in their cord 🤍
A tiny twist in their story, formed long before we ever met them.

It’s not something to fear..most of the time it simply rests there quietly while baby grows, stretches, and dreams. And then one day, they arrive… bringing that little knot with them like a keepsake from the womb.

Some say it feels like a reminder of how capable they are, how gently and beautifully their body knew the way their story was already unfolding before birth.
A small hidden detail that somehow makes their arrival feel even more unique!
This happens in about 1% of pregnancies and I feel so honored to have seen this. Not to mention the heart on the placenta 🥰

First time parents.
Homebirth.
Christmas time. WOW!
There are a ton of things I could say about these two, but I’ll spare most of the sappy stuff. You know when you meet someone and you just think “yea I want to know them forever” ?
This mama was incredibly diligent and passionate. She prepped her body and mind beautifully. Her husband and fur babies were there with unwavering support. The bond these two have is that of a romance movie. Their dads were best friends back in the day and I totally got to witness the full circle moment! Baby girl was covered in birthday frosting (vernix 😍) and a head full of hair. Absolute perfection. I love getting updated pictures of her and look forward to seeing the adventures they will share. Her 2026 itinerary is already filled with lots of adventures to come! Much love to the Johnson’s party of 3!
