We’re all safe, and we hope you all are as well.

We are all so deeply saddened by the devastation our area and so many areas close to home have faced from Hurricane Helene. If you are in a place to volunteer your time or to make a donation, we suggest reaching out to the places below. If you know of any other local organizations offering assistance please let us know and we will share that information as well.

We have previously talked about offering flash pieces for Halloween and other themes, but due to the overwhelming circumstances of our surrounding area we are pausing work on that front for the time being.

We're still riding the flash tattoo train! We're trying our best to have more options available for pre-drawn tattoos that Tattoos by Ping can offer when her books open. We've asked a lot of questions about what kind of flash you'd like to see but now we need to know what your thoughts for the ideal cost for flash tattoos. We did a poll a few weeks ago asking what kind of flash you'd like to see more of, and an overwhelming amount of you chose Florals and Botanicals. In preparation for Tattoos by Ping books opening in September we want to see what options from those she could have available for you to choose from this round. What floral and botanical options would you like to see available? Feel free to comment any options we may have forgotten!

Sweet summertime is officially here. A great time to sit- back, relax, and go on some much needed vacations! Whether it's a day trip on the river or a week long beach vacation you have to make sure you're caring for your skin and protecting your tattoos while you're relaxing your mind. We have just the tips to help you!

1- If you have a fresh tattoo that is still healing: avoid direct sunlight and submerging the tattoo in water until it's fully healed!
2- Sunscreen! Everyone is always telling you to use it, and now we are, too! It protects your skin from all of the harsh UV rays and it will keep your tattoos from fading under all of those warm rays you're soaking up.
3- Put water in your body, too! All of that swimming feels so great on your warm skin, don't forget that your insides want the same! Drinking water has a bunch of health benefits, we all know that. But it's great for your skin and will help keep your tattoos from looking thirsty.
4- Moisturize! The summer sun can really dry out your skin, and so does pool water! Once you're out of the sun for the day and wash off all of your sunscreen, don't forget to moisturize. Not moisturizing can also cause your tattoo to fade.
5- Show them off! The best part about having a lot of tattoos is getting to show them off to people. We always encourage you to showcase all of the beautiful artwork you have! Just make sure you're doing the steps above to keep them looking great!
