Sunday is National Cancer Survivors Day. The Sarah Grace Foundation’s devoted team of Sarah’s Angels works tirelessly to bring comfort, hope, and support to children battling cancer. Through their courage, determination, and strength, these children inspire us and remind us what it means to be a survivor.

Children facing cancer are true warriors, demonstrating remarkable. While many survive and thrive, some childhood cancer survivors face ongoing health risks later in life, including a recurrence of their original cancer or the development of a secondary cancer. These risks can arise from dormant cancer cells that remain in the body for years or from their original treatment that make them susceptible to future cancers. Sarah was our warrior and her loss inspired us to instill her courage in other children.

This Sunday, join us in honoring all cancer survivors by celebrating life. Cancer touches nearly every family, making it more important than ever to share stories of hope and love. Together, we can inspire others and recognize the extraordinary courage of those who continue their survivorship journey.

Children battling cancer face tremendous emotional and physical challenges every single day. Between treatments, hospital visits, and long periods away from normal childhood activities, many children experience high levels of stress, fear, and anxiety. A primary focus of The Sarah Grace mission is to provide moments of fun and creativity that can make a meaningful difference in helping them cope during these difficult times.

The Sarah Grace Foundation is dedicated to bringing comfort, hope, and happiness to children and families affected by childhood cancer. Through thoughtful programs, uplifting activities, and compassionate support, the foundation creates opportunities for children to smile, express themselves, and simply enjoy being kids. These experiences provide important emotional relief and remind families that they are not alone in their journey.

But on Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who serve our country today and pay tribute to those who fought bravely throughout our history. We remember the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our freedom.
