Post-op supplies you need to recover from any plastic surgery!
Here is a list of the essentials.
Use these instead of the Amazon and store bought stuff.
1.Lipo Foams- Amazon lipo foams are not always medical grade, and most of the time are sponge or memory foams, which can cause fibrosis, won't stimulate the lymphatics to reabsorb or reduce swelling.
2. Compression Detergent - Store bought detergent has tons of chemicals that can cause a rash after surgery and wear out the fabrics of your garment.
3. Wound Care- Neosporin, Vaseline, and Bacitracin will keep your incisions wet, cause the skin around them to scar and reopen.
4. Post-Op Soap- Antibacterial soap like Dial, Dove, and Hibiclens should only be used the first couple of days post-op. Once your incisions are scabbed, they cause your skin to flake, peel, and hurt.
5. Post-Op Cream- The Arnica cream you buy on Amazon is only strong enough for bruises from minor injuries. It also doesn't have the Echinacea, Calendula, Rosemary, Black Pepper, Lemongrass, or any other herbs that help heal tissue, stop pain, itching, or numbness.
6. BBL Pillow - For bbl surgery, you need a pillow that's firm enough to last 6-8 weeks without collapsing. Amazon BBL pillows are squishy and don't keep you elevated or way too hard.
