Grief support that’s real, personal, and healing, helping you complete what’s unresolved and move forward with peace, clarity, and connection.

I help folks work through grief, plain and simple. Whether it’s losing someone, going through a breakup, health problems, or life just not going how you hoped, it hits hard. I don’t rush you, and I don’t judge. We take a real look at what’s still weighing on you, and I walk you through a process that helps clear it out. This isn’t about pretending everything’s fine or trying to forget. It’s about facing what hurts, saying what needs to be said, and making peace with it. You can do it in a group or one-on-one with me. Either way, it’s honest work, with real support. We sort through the hard parts, and we find solid ground again.

Self-belief is rebuilt one kept promise at a time. Don't try to be perfect. Just make one small promise to yourself and keep it.

Stop waiting to feel ready. Make yourself one small promise, keep it, and begin rebuilding trust in your own word.

A grief trigger is not always a person, place, anniversary, or special occasion.

Sometimes it is stress.
Loneliness.
A familiar time of day.
A memory that appears without warning.

You may not immediately understand why your emotions have shifted. Your body and heart can remember what your mind was not consciously thinking about.

Recognizing a trigger does not mean you should suppress what you feel or force yourself to “handle it better.” It gives you an opportunity to pause, acknowledge what has surfaced, and ask:

“What is this feeling asking me to notice or express?”

Grief does not always announce itself clearly. Sometimes it simply asks to be heard.

Why I Chose the Name “Grief Blooms”

My journey with distorted grief began more than 40 years ago. Before I understood how to tend to my grief, I had left it to time, believing time alone would take care of it. But time alone does not tend grief. Left unattended, my grief became overgrown and took over parts of my life, if not all of it. Whether or not I was aware of it, the incomplete grief connected to my loss was always present and surfaced unexpectedly.

I kept trying to avoid it because relief, not completion, had become my focus. All I had available to me were the typical approaches. They sometimes offered temporary relief but mostly left me feeling as though something was wrong with me. They did not address what I eventually came to understand as unfinished business.

Then I discovered the Grief Recovery Method and learned how to map my own journey of recovery. The experience transformed me.

That is why I chose the name Grief Blooms. It reflects what I learned. Grief will grow wherever it is left unattended, but when we approach it with honesty, compassion, and intentional action, it can be tended. The loss remains significant and can still be honored, but grief no longer has to control the landscape of our lives. It can become part of a life that continues to grow and bloom.

For the past seven years, I have had the privilege of helping others map their own journeys. Discovery begins wherever you are on yours. Together, we create a safe space to acknowledge the experiences and challenges that have shaped your grief without denying or minimizing their impact. We identify what remains unfinished and follow the specific actions of the Grief Recovery Method toward resolution while honoring the significance of your loss.

My role is not to tell you how to grieve. It is to help you navigate the terrain, uncover what may be getting in the way, and take meaningful steps forward. The key is applying the actions of the Grief Recovery Method to move from what remains unfinished toward compassionate release. This is called completion, the point when the fog of distorted grief begins to lift.
