Should we be ingesting any petroleum derived products however convenient they may be to manufacture? Allegedly carbon and reverse osmosis filters can remove vinyl chloride but it would be wonderful to figure out safe, economically feasible solutions to replace PVC. I've had a few new liver primary cancers recently and the patients wonder how living a healthy lifestyle led to a devastating diagnosis. This is where my mind goes because we know PVC is occupationally hazardous for liver cancer. Look around and its plastic and petroleum everything.

The report raises concerns about chemicals in PVC leaching into the drinking water and says communities should use stainless steel or copper.
