💙 Meet Paul — Our Legacy Hospitality! 💙

Paul is always ready to lend a helping hand wherever he is needed. Whether it’s helping staff, visiting with his fellow residents, or simply making someone’s day a little brighter, Paul truly is Legacy’s biggest helper! 🥰

Today, I had the absolute honor of presenting Paul with his very own Legacy badge. The look of pride and excitement on his face was priceless. He looked at me and said, “You don’t know how much this means to me.”🥹💙

That one statement is exactly why I love being the Legacy Leader. It’s moments like this that remind me how important it is to make our residents feel valued, needed, and like they truly belong.

I couldn’t help but have tears in my eyes watching how proud Paul was to wear his very own badge. He may think he’s just helping us, but he gives so much more than that — he gives us joy, purpose, and a reminder that everyone has something special to contribute.💙

Our Legacy Lane residents had an absolute blast today bowling! 🎳❤️ We enjoyed lots of laughs, cheering each other on, and celebrating every strike, spare, and roll down the lane.

We had so much fun making our own ice cream sundaes! From choosing our favorite toppings to creating our delicious masterpieces, everyone had a wonderful time. ❤️

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and, of course, plenty of yummy ice cream! What a sweet way to spend the day with our residents. 🍦🥰

Heritage Month: A Taste of the Philippines! 🇵🇭

Our residents took a delicious trip to the Philippines as part of our Heritage Month celebration!

Director of Food Services, Chef Rachelle shared a special presentation about her home country, including Filipino culture, traditions, fun facts, and a glimpse into her hometown of Cavite City.

Following the presentation, residents experienced a Filipino-inspired Boodle Fight, a colorful communal feast traditionally served over banana leaves and centered around sharing food and enjoying a meal together.

Our feast included Chicken Inasal, Filipino Tocino, Garlic Rice, Garlic Green Beans, Bok Choy, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, pineapple, papaya relish (atchara) and pineapple juice.

Residents even learned about Kamayan, the Filipino tradition of eating with your hands, and had the opportunity to give it a try.

To finish our culinary journey, residents enjoyed Mais con Yelo topped with Corn & Cheese Ice Cream for dessert. 💜

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with new flavors, traditions, stories, and plenty of smiles.

There is something so beautiful about watching friendships blossom in Legacy Lane. ❤️

Our Legacy ladies have formed such a sweet and special friendship. They enjoy spending time together, sharing conversations, laughing, and simply being there for one another. Watching them connect and build these meaningful bonds is a beautiful reminder that friendship has no age limit. 🥰
