Surviving breast cancer is a triumph. But survivorship is about more than survival.

The effects of breast cancer treatment can continue long after treatment ends - including vaginal dryness, discomfort, and changes that can affect intimacy and quality of life. These conversations deserve to be part of survivorship care. 💗

Low-dose vaginal estrogen is an option to decrease risk of UTIs, for comfort, for enjoyment. You deserve care that supports quality of life, not just survival.

Making Space for Mindfulness.

Mindfulness isn't about clearing your mind of every thought. It's more about slowing down, being present, and giving yourself a moment to simply breathe.
Why bother? Mindfulness helps you manage stress, improve focus, respond to emotions more intentionally and feel more connected to yourself. and actually enjoy your life! Which isn't at the point?!

You don't need an hour of meditation to get started. Try taking a few deep breaths, journaling your thoughts, or stepping away from distractions for a few minutes today.

Your health is SO MUCH bigger than a list of metrics.

The more I think about it, my life coach training adds just about as much to the way I practice medicine and the systems and philosophies I've established as the founder of GOZA Wellness as my doctorate degree. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The combination really is magical and so necessary to serve women well!

Shou-t out to the women who are learning that taking care of themselves isn't something they have to earn.

The women who schedule the appointment.
Lift the weights.
Go to therapy.
Get the massage.
Learn about their hormones.
Protect their sleep.
Call the friend.
Try something new.
Say no sometimes.
And say a big YES when something lights them up.

Pouring into yourself doesn't take away from what you give to everyone else. It is the FOUNDATION of what you give to everyone else.
