💚 Alcohol addiction can affect more than just drinking; it can impact mental health, relationships, responsibilities, and everyday life.

Recognizing the warning signs of alcohol use disorder can be an important first step toward change. Drinking more than intended, struggling to cut back, experiencing withdrawal symptoms, or continuing to drink despite negative consequences may indicate that additional support is needed.

The important thing to remember is that alcohol addiction is treatable, and recovery is possible. With appropriate treatment, support, and continued care, individuals can work toward rebuilding their health, relationships, and future.

Asking for help can be the beginning of something better. 🌱

💭 Spravato and ketamine therapy are becoming increasingly visible in mental health care, but they aren’t interchangeable, and understanding the differences matters.

Spravato (esketamine) has specific FDA-approved uses for depression and is administered in certified healthcare settings with required monitoring. Ketamine itself is FDA-approved as an anesthetic and may be used off-label for psychiatric conditions. Compounded and at-home ketamine products can involve different levels of oversight.

While ketamine-based treatment may provide meaningful benefits for appropriately selected individuals, ketamine also has recognized abuse and dependence potential. Warning signs of problematic use can include increasing doses or frequency, cravings, hiding use, seeking dissociation, or continuing despite negative consequences.

Our latest article explores:

• Spravato vs. ketamine therapy
• Why these treatments are used for depression
• FDA-approved, off-label, and compounded products
• Why Spravato requires monitoring
• Ketamine misuse, dependence, and addiction concerns
• Dissociation and “K-holes”
• Ketamine bladder syndrome and “K-cramps”
• Ketamine use and chronic pain
• At-home ketamine considerations
• Warning signs that ketamine use may be becoming a problem
• Treating depression and substance use together

💚 The conversation around ketamine shouldn’t be reduced to “good” or “bad.” Understanding the treatment, its purpose, its safeguards, and its risks can help individuals make more informed decisions about their mental health.

💚 Your future deserves a fighting chance.

No matter what yesterday looked like, today can be an opportunity to move forward. Recovery, healing, and personal growth are built one decision, one day, and one step at a time.

The journey may not always be easy, but difficult moments don’t determine how your story ends. Asking for support, choosing healthier habits, and believing that something better is possible can all be meaningful steps toward change.

Keep choosing yourself. Keep choosing hope. Your future is worth fighting for. 🌱

💚 Relapse does not mean recovery has failed.

Recovery isn’t always a straight line. Setbacks can happen, but they don’t erase the progress you’ve made or take away your ability to begin again.

If you’ve experienced a relapse, this moment doesn’t have to define what happens next. Reaching out for support, reconnecting with your goals, and taking one step forward can be the beginning of your next chapter.

You are still worthy of recovery. You can start again. 🌱

🌱 You have the power to start again.

For Happiness Happens Month, we’re celebrating the possibility of new beginnings. Happiness doesn’t always come from having everything figured out; it can begin with one decision to keep moving forward.

Whether you’re rebuilding your mental health, working toward recovery, or simply trying to create a healthier life, starting again is always an option. Your past does not have to determine what comes next.

Give yourself permission to choose hope, accept support, and take the next step at your own pace. 💚

A new chapter can start with one choice.

💚 Progress can begin with understanding the whole picture.

During Happiness Happens Month, it’s important to remember that mental health and substance use challenges can sometimes occur together. When they do, addressing both can be an important part of building a healthier, more fulfilling future.

Dual diagnosis support focuses on the whole person through comprehensive assessment, integrated treatment, personalized care, and practical coping skills designed to support long-term recovery.

Happiness doesn’t mean every day is easy. Sometimes, it means finding the right support, recognizing your progress, and holding onto hope for what comes next.

With the right support, healing and recovery are possible. 🌱

⚠️ Just because something is sold at a gas station, convenience store, or smoke shop doesn’t mean it’s safe.

So-called “gas station drugs” can include psychoactive products containing substances such as tianeptine and concentrated 7-OH. Often packaged as gummies, shots, pills, powders, or supplements, these products can appear harmless while carrying significant risks.

Repeated use may lead to tolerance, cravings, dependence, and withdrawal. Another concern is that consumers may not always know the exact potency or ingredients they’re taking, making these substances even more unpredictable, especially when combined with alcohol, medications, or other drugs.

Our latest article explores:

• What “gas station drugs” are
• The risks associated with tianeptine and 7-OH
• How concentrated 7-OH differs from traditional kratom
• Signs of dependence and withdrawal
• Why packaging can create a false sense of safety
• What parents and families should know
• When professional treatment may be appropriate

💚 Easy availability doesn’t equal safety. Awareness can help individuals and families make more informed decisions about their health.

🐢 Happiness doesn’t have to happen all at once, and neither does progress.

During Happiness Happens Month, remember that growth isn’t measured by how quickly you reach the finish line. Sometimes progress looks like taking one small step, giving yourself another chance, or simply choosing to keep going on a difficult day.

Healing and recovery take time. There may be setbacks, slower seasons, and moments when it feels like you should be further along. But every positive choice matters, even when the results aren’t immediately visible.

This August, give yourself permission to appreciate where you are while continuing to work toward where you want to be. 💚

Be patient with your progress. Small steps still move you forward.

08/23/2026

Sometimes the people closest to us recognize that something needs to change before we’re ready to say it ourselves.

Acknowledging that you may need help is a meaningful step. You don’t have to know exactly what recovery will look like or have everything figured out before reaching out.

Treatment can provide a supportive environment to begin addressing substance use, build a foundation for recovery, and determine what comes next.

If someone you trust has encouraged you to seek help, consider starting the conversation. One decision can open the door to a different future. 💙

🌈 Even on difficult days, hope still has a place.

During Happiness Happens Month, it’s worth remembering that happiness doesn’t mean every day has to feel good. Some days are about joy and celebration. Others are simply about holding onto hope, giving yourself grace, and taking the next step forward.

Healing isn’t always a straight line, and progress doesn’t always feel like progress while you’re living through it. A difficult day doesn’t erase how far you’ve come, and it doesn’t determine where you’re going.

This August, celebrate the brighter moments when they come, be gentle with yourself when they don’t, and keep choosing hope. 💚

Better days can still be ahead.
