Yesterday Kelsey had the honor of speaking at the Sioux City Christian Women’s Club luncheon about something that has shaped so much of my life .. what 15 years behind the salon chair has taught me about women. ✨
Behind the chair, we do so much more than hair. We celebrate milestones, carry burdens, laugh until we cry, process heartbreak, rebuild confidence, and remind women they are worthy of care too.
One of the greatest blessings of this career has been getting a front row seat to the strength, resilience, kindness, and beauty women carry every single day.
Thankful for opportunities like this, for every woman who has trusted me in my chair over the years, and for a career that has always been about so much more than hair. 🤍

We were blown away by the number of incredible applicants for The Hair Shoppe 2026 Scholarship again this year. Choosing just one recipient is never easy, but Gregory Beals stood out for his passion, ambition, and heart for serving others.

Gregory plans to make a positive impact on our communities through both EMT work and music education, and we have no doubt he will do just that. We are honored to support his journey and can’t wait to see all he accomplishes.
