Botox does not freeze your face. Too much Botox freezes your face.

Dose is the entire conversation. The same product that erases expression at a high dose simply softens movement at the right one. You can treat a forehead and still raise your eyebrows. You can smooth crow's feet and still smile with your eyes.

If every treated face you have seen looks frozen, you have been looking at dosing decisions, not the product.

Follow for straight answers about injectables, from an RN who doses low on purpose.

Your filler is an investment. Protect it.

Six habits that help your results last longer: hydration, medical grade skincare, daily SPF, less heat, no aggressive rubbing, and a small touch-up before it fully fades.

None of this is complicated. It is the same theme as everything else we do here: consistent, boring, effective care beats dramatic fixes every time.

Save this list for after your next appointment. And when you are ready to plan that appointment, the link in our bio has you covered, or call or text us at 423-454-2898.

Less product and a better plan. That is facial balancing in six words.

Your face is not a menu of areas to fill. It is one connected structure, and treating it well starts with mapping it before anything else happens.

That is why your first appointment here looks more like an assessment than a treatment. We look at proportions, movement, and anatomy first. Then we decide together what actually needs product, and what does not.

A bruise after injectables does not mean something went wrong.

Your face is full of tiny blood vessels that no injector on earth can see through skin. Even with careful, anatomy-first technique, sometimes one gets nicked. Your body reacts, it heals, and your result is unaffected.

What actually matters is everything around the needle: assessment before treatment, conservative dosing, and a provider who tells you the truth about what is normal.

Save this for your next appointment, and if you have questions about what recovery really looks like, send us a DM. Real talk is kind of our thing at this Hixson studio.

I will talk you out of more. It happens in this studio all the time.

Most people walk in asking for more than they actually need. More units, more syringes, more areas. My job is to know the difference between what you asked for and what your face is actually asking for.

Restraint is the skill you are hiring. Anyone can add product. Knowing when to stop is what keeps you looking like yourself.

That conversation starts seated, not with a syringe in hand.

Book a consult. Not a syringe.

Overfilled faces are not a filler problem. They are a planning problem.

The product in the syringe has never once decided where it goes, how much gets used, or how often someone comes back. A person decided all of that.

When you see a face that looks done, what you are really seeing is a plan that kept saying yes. More volume, more visits, no map of the whole face.

A good injector works from a plan first. Dose, placement, and pacing are the skill. The syringe is just the tool.

Follow along for the plain-English version of how injectables actually work.

Dermal filler, explained in plain English.

Most people hear "filler" and picture one of two things: overfilled lips or a price list. Neither one is how we work.

Filler is a tool for restoring structure your face has slowly lost. Cheeks, chin, jawline, under eyes. Placed in small amounts, based on your anatomy, it rebalances instead of adding bulk.

That is the difference between chasing volume and having a plan for your whole face.

Curious whether filler even makes sense for you? Book a consult at our Hixson studio and we will talk through your options. No pressure, just clarity.

08/17/2026

Natural results should still look like you. We specialize in getting you real results that give confidence and never look "over done".

That is the entire point of injectables done well, and the standard for every plan we build at our Hixson studio.

Restoration, not transformation.
