Moxie, a Sarah Jay Signature Salon, recently relocated to the trendy NorthShore area of Chattanooga, TN! The salon is a cozy, comfortable space that offers clients a great experience from start to finish. Owner Sarah Jay is a nationally-recognized hair designer whose experiences span from working with celebrity stylists to volunteering her services at community events. She is a colorist specializi

ng in tri-dimensional & electric colors and a cutting specialist in fashion-forward styles and corrective work. She also has a flair for creativity with styling/arranging hair for special events. Her clients consistently thank her for listening to what they want (and don't want), giving them a haircut that holds its shape between visits, producing great color results and sharing hair care and styling tips to use at home. In addition to serving her clientele through regular appointments, Sarah Jay offers bridal & party packages and workshops. Moxie is growing - additional stylists available soon!

After eight amazing years on West Bell Avenue, I have decided to close the location on Northshore, but the good news is that you can continue to experience the same eclectic vibe, calming ambiance, and quality hair service from my new private suite at Northgate in Hixson.

My life looks very different now than it did when I first opened the downtown location, which allows me to take on different roles and pursue new opportunities. Thanks to your cumulative encouragement, I am finally writing that book. I am so excited to take the connective, restorative energy of my journey alongside you and pour it into words on a page whereby I can communicate hope and healing on a greater scale.

Going forward, you will continue to schedule your hair appointments either through the GlossGenius app or by texting me directly, and you’ll receive a text notification prior to your visit that gives you detailed information about how to find Moxie, where to park, and what to expect. This new location will probably be more convenient for many of you who have traveled downtown despite the long distance from Ooltewah, Ringgold and Soddy Daisy, and you will find the parking to be much simpler to navigate as well. Additionally, the decision to downsize the salon allows me to invest time as both a hairdresser and a writer without any increase in service prices for you. If this relocation requires you to shift your appointment time, feel free to text me and we will make the necessary adjustments and accommodations through the transition.
