I think we all can agree — we want our children to feel safe, confident, and capable

Building their confidence begins the moment they start exploring. They learn about themselves through curiosity, risk, movement, and exploration

When we hover, over-correct, or react quickly, we may unintentionally communicate:
“that’s not safe”
or
“I don’t trust you.”

But when children are given safe spaces to freely explore, they begin learning how to trust themselves

Give your little one opportunities to build confidence this week by:
Sitting back and watching instead of following
Noticing your reaction when they reach, climb, or explore
Redirect long calmly only when truly needed
Using your body language and presence more than constant words

When your little engages in low stim play, it signals safety and rest to your nervous system. Especially in a world where most of us are mothering alone

The hardest part about being a stay at home mom and business owner? Time.

Finding time in the day, asking for help so I can have time, finding reliable caregivers, managing my time.

I have this part that pushes urgency and when it shows up I unravel and am immediately overwhelmed.

My lesson right now is putting the work thing down when my environment changes aka my kids need me. That part gets loud- “you won’t get time to finish this if you don’t do it now” but that’s not true. When I create space for work intentionally, I have the time.

Sometimes this lesson isn’t even work related- it can show up while doing chores around the house, talking to another adult, trying to get somewhere.

Something has been sitting on my heart and I needed to finally say it out loud.

I have been holding back. Afraid to take up space, afraid to be loud about something I know mothers need. Every month I get a little braver, a little more myself. But not fast enough.

At the end of 2025 I quietly pulled back our classes to get clear. On Rooted, on what mothers actually need, and honestly on myself. That stillness gave me something. A direction. A conviction.

You are going to start seeing more from us. Everything you see will mean something. Every group, every gathering, every open hour exists to make sure you feel less alone in this season of life. That has always been the mission. Now I'm finally clear on the direction to show up for it the way it deserves.

Two new groups this Friday, more on the way.

If no one has told you lately, you are doing an incredible job. And you deserve a place that sees you in that.
