Here is the final result of our black removal on my hair. If you have been following this journey, this marks the fifth process of lightener on what use to be years of professional black hair color. As you can see there is still some gold on the mid to the end of the hair around my face where the balck color was. This is as far as we can take these pieces without risking the rest of what little integrity the hair has left. There has been breakage, and some extra face framing was required as well as hair repair. But we have finally reached our goal. So thank you for following and I hope this journey has given you a better idea as to why we can not go from black hair color to platinum in one process. I will note that this can be achieved sooner with most of the integrity intact with color removal products. But you get the pleasure of smelling like burnt rotten eggs for about six months speaking from experience, this was not my first rodeo with black color removal. I was not willing to smell that around my face. Lol so we chose this route instead.
