There’s something I’ve been quietly building behind the scenes for awhile now, and today feels like the right day to finally share it.

The idea for Lavender Living actually came about toward the end of last year, but as life sometimes does, things got lifey. It was placed on pause while I focused on simply getting through the season in front of me.

But today, while sitting in a place layered with so much personal history, nuance, and reflection, it felt like the right moment to formally launch it into the world.

Lavender Living, in a lot of ways, is a reflection of my own redirection over the last few years: the importance of romanticizing your life. Of slowing down enough to notice the small things. Creating rituals. Finding beauty in ordinary moments. Learning to appreciate life’s simple pleasures instead of constantly rushing toward the next thing.

In some ways, I think the concept mirrors the color lavender itself — a blending of red and blue.
Red being life, movement, commitments, responsibilities, the constant motion.
Blue being rest, softness, slow moments, peace.
Lavender Living exists somewhere in the middle of those two things.

This space will function as a lifestyle brand of sorts — a curated extension of Shelti Farms where our products will live alongside other cozy home and life goods that align with this philosophy of intentional, slower living.

And while Lavender Living is something new, Shelti Farms remains the heart of it all — the parent company, the farm where our lavender is grown, and the source behind everything we create. Less of a rebrand, more of a creating clarity.

I’m really excited to see where this evolves. 🤍

Who’s ready for this? 🙋🏼‍♀️💜

Guess what… our lavender is maturing ahead of schedule this year and I for one am very excited about it. We’ll keep tracking bloom progress and keep everyone updated as harvest gets closer.

If you’d potentially be interested in pre-ordering fresh lavender bundles once they’re ready, leave me a comment so I can get an idea of interest 🌿

Also — this Saturday you can find us at both the Lee’s Summit Farmers Market and the Overland Park Farmers Market, plus a sweet little pop-up from 10–1 at Powell Gardens Colonial Farm 💐

Mother’s Day weekend is officially here 🌿💐

We’ll be at both the Lee’s Summit Farmers Market + the Overland Park Farmers Market this morning with all the botanical goodness — candles, room sprays, lavender treats, gift baskets, self-care favorites, and thoughtful little luxuries perfect for celebrating the moms, grandmas, mother figures, or honestly… yourself too 😉

One of my favorite things about shopping local for Mother’s Day is knowing your gift has a story behind it. Every purchase supports a small family farm and business built with intention, while also giving mom something unique, meaningful, and not mass-produced.

If you’re still looking for a gift that feels a little more personal this year, come see us this morning 🤍

We’d love to help you put together something beautiful 🌿

Fresh shelves, full hearts 🤍 We just did a big restock at Lovett Coffeehouse and it’s feeling extra good.

We refreshed our candle lineup (think cozy, clean, botanical blends) and paired them with matching room sprays so you can carry your favorite scent throughout your space. We also dropped off a handful of Mother’s Day gift baskets, restocked our lavender honey syrup + customer-favorite lip balms, and added our aromatherapy eye pillows in some fresh spring patterns 🌿

If you’re new here—hi, we’re Shelti Farms. A small lavender and flower farm tucked right on the edge of Lone Jack. This place is home in every sense of the word—I grew up in Lone Jack, and getting to create something homegrown, from our fields to your home, is truly the heart behind everything we do.

Next time you’re grabbing a coffee, take a peek at the shelves—you just might find your new favorite 🌸

Peep the lavender 🤩

Those first little buds showing up never get old… it’s like the quiet promise of everything to come. This is the season where patience starts turning into something you can actually see, and it feels really special every single year.
No background music needed. Just the hum of spring peepers and the birds , and a little slice of farm life doing its thing 🌿

It’s a whole vibe out here 🌿✨

We’re at the Spring Chick Event in Leawood at Town Center Plaza and let me just say… the weather is GORGEOUS, the booths are amazing, and it’s such a fun little day out. Grab your girlfriends, stroll, sip, shop—this is your sign 💁🏼‍♀️

We’re here until 5 today + back tomorrow 11–4! Perfect spot to snag a Mother’s Day gift… or casually build your wish list (husbands, this is your hint 👀).

Also… Shelti Farms is getting featured on the news TOMORROW and your girl will be doing a live interview 😱 send coffee, good vibes, and maybe a full night’s sleep because we are currently running on ✨one hour✨ over here 🫠

Come see us 🤍

Mother’s Day, but make it thoughtful 🤍

These little baskets are filled with some of our favorite botanical comforts—things that invite her to slow down, take a breath, and feel a little taken care of (because let’s be honest… she probably spends most of her time doing that for everyone else).

Each one is a ready-to-gift moment—no wrapping needed, just something beautiful and intentional.

✨ Available this weekend:
• Saturday at the Lee’s Summit Farmers Market + Overland Park Farmers Market
• Spring Chick Event (Saturday & Sunday)

Come grab one before they’re gone—these are limited and won’t last long.

It wouldn’t be a full three-event weekend without a little pre-show chaos 😂

At this point, I just expect it. It’s been a very full week—and on top of everything, my refrigerator quit working and the truck tried to leave me stranded at Dollar General.

On the bright side… this is happening now and not Friday 🙃 but let’s just say I’m currently a bit of a puddle.

All that said—I’m still really looking forward to a great weekend. We’ll be at:
• Lee’s Summit Farmers Market
• Overland Park Farmers Market
• Spring Chick Event at Town Center Plaza in Leawood

The weather is going to be beautiful, the vibes will be good, and it’s the perfect excuse to get out with your girlfriends or get ahead on Mother’s Day shopping 🤍

We’re looking to grow our team at Shelti Farms 🌿

As our season picks up, we’re looking for a couple of good humans to join us in two different roles:

✨ Markets + Events + Samplings
Help represent Shelti Farms out in the community—farmers markets, pop-ups, and in-store samplings.

* Weekend availability is a must
* Shifts typically range from 3–7 hours
* Great for someone who enjoys connecting with people and sharing what we do

🌾 Lavender Field Support
Hands-on help out in the field during our growing season.

* Primarily weeding + general plant care
* Harvest support in May + June
* Morning availability 2–3 days/week

Both roles are part-time + seasonal, with potential for continued opportunities as we grow.

If you love working with your hands, being outside, and/or being part of a small, intentional business—we’d love to hear from you 🤍

Send us a message or email us at [email protected] with a little about yourself and which role you’re interested in.
