Leader Spotlight: Brandon

Some leaders inspire with their words. Others inspire through the way they show up every day.
For Brandon, family, hard work, and a commitment to continuous learning have shaped his journey.

When he joined Haworth in 2021 as a Team Lead, he was balancing the demands of a new role with the responsibilities of caring for his family at home. Through it all, he remained focused on giving his best, both at home and at work.

That drive to learn and grow led Brandon to embrace new opportunities, take on increasing leadership responsibilities, and build his career across multiple roles. Today, he serves as an Operations Manager in our Laminated Products Plant.

His advice to others? Ask questions, explore opportunities, and never stop learning.
We're grateful for members like Brandon whose dedication, resilience, and commitment to growth strengthen our teams and inspire those around them every day.

Members recently traded a little of their daily work for markers and crayons, spending volunteer time decorating nearly 400 bags for Kids' Food Basket. Each bag was filled with colorful designs, encouraging messages, and a personal touch that will help deliver meals to local kids. A huge thank you to everyone who shared their time, artistic talents, and enthusiasm to help brighten a child's day!

For many Haworth members, Member Appreciation Day is a tradition they look forward to each year. Recently, Ludington members and their families gathered at the Mason County Fairgrounds for great food, raffle prizes, and time together. Rain showers came and went, but the fun carried on. In partnership with Heart of West Michigan United Way, we recently welcomed several local nonprofit organizations to our Holland headquarters for a Community Resource Fair. The event gave Haworth members the opportunity to learn more about the organizations making a difference across our community, discover available resources, and explore ways to get involved through volunteering and giving.

Held ahead of our annual Haworth Helps + United Way Give campaign, which kicks off next month, the fair also offered a firsthand look at how community partnerships help strengthen the places where we live and work. We're grateful to the organizations that joined us for the day and look forward to creating more opportunities like this in the future.

Recently, our HR Business Partner team gathered at Holland headquarters for onsite meetings, bringing together teammates from locations across the country.

While spending time together in Holland, the team squeezed in one more thing: giving back. They spent an afternoon volunteering at Community Action House, supporting an organization that makes a difference for neighbors throughout our community.

It was a great opportunity to reconnect in person and make an impact. Thank you Community Action House for welcoming our team and allowing us to be part of your mission for the afternoon.
