A full day of creating, exploring, and trying something new! 💜

Our friends had a full day of elective choices, including Snapology, fine motor fun with Perler beads, Book Club, and Trivia! 🧩📚✨ Then we headed out for a brand-new community outing to Town Creek Valley Farm, where our friends explored the farm and picked their own beautiful flowers to take home. 🌸🌼💐

We love finding new ways for our friends to create, make choices, build skills, and experience new places in our community! 💜

Today was Walking Club, where our friends continued working toward their individual step goals AND our group goal! 👟🙌

Then we got creative and tried some new art activities! Our friends experimented with turmeric painting invisible ink, and sun painting with pressed flowers. ☀️🌼🎨 We loved exploring different ways to create art and trying something new together!

We are SO proud of our intern, Faith, for officially completing all 560 hours of her recreational therapy internship and graduating from the University of Tennessee with her degree in Therapeutic Recreation ! 🧡🤍

Over the past several months, Faith has brought so much fun, creativity, encouragement, and care to our friends at RestorABLE. We are incredibly grateful that we got to be part of this chapter of her journey!

Our friends started the day with their Pathways Elective choices of Book Club or Board Games before heading out to Stars and Strikes! 🎳🔫 Once there, groups got to choose their own adventure—bowling or laser tag! We love giving our friends opportunities to explore their interests, make choices, and enjoy time together in the community. 💜

💜 More Than a T-Shirt — We’re Building Something Bigger!

We are so excited to begin taking the first steps toward growing RestorABLE Community Pathways Foundation and creating even more opportunities for individuals with disabilities in our community!

To help kick-start our fundraising, we are selling our “Support Your Local Disability Community” fundraiser T-shirts! ✨

Funds raised will help us work towards our goals — creating more affordable recreation and leisure opportunities, developing hands-on vocational experiences, and ultimately creating a community gift shop where young adults with disabilities can build job skills and have meaningful employment opportunities.

And these shirts are just the beginning! Our friends will have opportunities to be involved in the process — from preparing and pressing shirts to taking orders, marketing, packaging, and eventually helping at pop-up events. 💜

What a great morning at the Chick-fil-A Cherokee County 5K! 🏃‍♀️💜

We loved getting to participate in a race that gives back to Cherokee County Special Olympics, while also having our booth set up to introduce our community to RestorABLE Community Pathways!

Our new sister nonprofit is all about creating MORE pathways for individuals with disabilities — from affordable recreation and leisure opportunities to vocational experiences and meaningful employment.

We’re working toward opening a community gift shop + Custom T-Shirt Bar where our young adults can learn new skills, build confidence, gain hands-on work experience, and be an active part of their community. 👕💼💜
