Are you familiar with the “Let Them” theory?

I’ll tell you the more I grow the more I am okay with accepting the “Let Them” in my own life and relationships. Even family can mistreat and disrespect you.

This is something that took me a very long time to learn. I used to tolerate a lot because I didn't want to lose people. I learned the hard way if they were really my people they would never treat me like that. Don't make the mistake of being so understanding and forgiving that you overlook the fact that you're being repeatedly disrespected.

Let them be upset.
Let them judge you.
Let them misunderstand you.
Let them gossip about you,
Let them ignore you.
Let them be "right."
Let them doubt you.
Let them not like you.
Let them not speak to you.
Let them run your name in the ground.
Let them make you out to be the villain.
Whatever it is that people want to say about you, let them!
Kindly step aside and LET THEM.

The hard truth is they know how much they are hurting you. They just simply don't care. They did it knowing it could cause them to lose you. They did it anyway. People that love you, care about how they make you feel. The end. Let them go.

There will be people that would rather lose you than be honest about what they've done to you. Let them go.

The lack of respect was the closure. The lack of apology was the closure. The lack of care was the closure. The lack of acountability was the closure. The lack of honestly was the closure. Let them go.

Make the decision to no longer sit at tables where you might be the topic when you get up. Let them go.

You can still be kind. You can even still love them deeply. But do it from the distance they created in their words and actions. Access to you is a privilege they have proven they can’t be trusted with. Let them go.

You don’t need to tell your side of the story. God already knows. Let God fight the battle for you. Let them go.

It’s taken me a long time to get here. Sleepless nights, countless tears, managing a range of emotions filled with anger, disappointment, confusion and deep hurt. Lots of self reflection, self preservation, deep prayer and seeking wisdom from those much wiser than me.

If you are struggling with this please know you are not alone. We will never understand why hurt people hurt people. But we can do the hard work to grow ourselves. Because healed people do in fact heal people.

Don’t you dare let them steal your joy.
Don’t you dare let them steal your light.
Don’t you dare let them steal your peace.
You are in control of that.

Hold tight to what you can control and release your grip on what you can’t control.

Let them go.

Day 149 💚 The Geometry of Change: Embracing Life's Pivotal Moments

Life is a journey marked by constant change. Some days, everything feels overwhelming: our hearts break, minds snap, and we reach our limits. It's in these moments of madness that we realize we can't continue on the old path. Change becomes inevitable, and our lives pivot, forming a mysterious geometry.

Time is relentless. It moves forward, and so must we. There’s no value in marking time in one position or dwelling on the past. Life will move on without us, leaving us out of step if we don't keep pace. This is why engaging with life actively and maintaining forward momentum is crucial.

Every decision we make should be a step forward. We should build upon the territory we’ve gained, ensuring that each new step capitalizes on the previous one. It's essential not to relinquish our position until we're sure we have something equal or better in our grasp.

Timing in this process must be intuitive. We all reach points where our tolerance for a situation ends, signaling that it’s time for change. When these moments arise, we must act decisively, free from guilt, hesitation, or timidity. These are the pivotal points where our lives turn towards new phases, and it's vital to seize them.

Progress isn’t measured by the distance we cover but by the lines and angles we create. Each decision crafts a new direction in the intricate geometry of our existence. Embrace these moments of change. Move forward with purpose and let the natural rhythm of life guide you to new and exciting horizons.

Day 141 🌿 Embrace the Art of Aging 🌿

"Lines on the face, tattoos of aging. Life is proved upon the body like needle-jabs from a blind machine."

This powerful analogy reminds us that aging is inevitable, and our experiences leave indelible marks on us, much like tattoos. As we grow older, our life choices and actions etch themselves onto our being, shaping who we become.

While we can't avoid aging, we can influence how gracefully and beautifully we age. Just as we would carefully choose a tattoo design, we must be intentional about our actions and attitudes. Living thoughtlessly is like being tattooed by a blind artist – the result is often chaotic and unappealing.

Our responsibility is to craft our lives with care, making choices that reflect the person we aspire to be. Let's embrace the process, ensuring that the 'tattoos' of our experiences tell a story of a life well-lived and thoughtfully designed. 🌟

Day 132 🌟 Embracing the Spokes of Life's Heavenly Wheel 🌟

In the vast tapestry of existence, the followers of Tao find solace and wisdom in the cyclical dance of the cosmos. They observe with reverence the ceaseless rotation of the stars, seeing in it a reflection of the ever-flowing progression of Tao itself. Just as the heavens move in harmonious cycles, so too do the stages of life unfold for each individual.

From the cradle to the grave, we traverse through various phases of growth and transformation, each marked by its own unique essence and purpose. The journey from childhood innocence to the wisdom of old age mirrors the grand movements of the celestial bodies, each phase contributing to the symphony of our existence.

Ultimately, it encourages you to live authentically and purposefully, facing both joys and sorrows head-on while striving to fulfill your destiny.

I heard today “The more you conquer the stresses and challenges in your life the higher your sense of coherence."

What is coherence? Coherence = The quality of forming a unified whole ….
So the more you conquer in your life the more whole you become.

As you successfully handle difficulties and pressures in your life, you'll likely develop a greater overall sense of understanding, manageability, and meaningfulness in your life. Build resilience and a clearer perspective through overcoming obstacles.

3 things to keep quiet.
1. Your love life.
2. Your Income.
3. Your next move.

The way you should think is: “I’m too busy working on my own grass to notice if yours is greener.”

Don’t mistake silence for weakness, smart people don’t plan big moves out loud. Move in silence and shock them with your success.

Mind your business, crush your goals, and make moves in silence. You don’t need an audience to achieve greatness. You need to focus.

When you build in silence, people don’t know what to attack.

Silence is the ultimate weapon of power.
