Dear Vibe Fest Family,
After a lot of thought, reflection, and conversations with my team, we’ve made the very difficult decision to cancel Vibe Fest Golden Hour, scheduled for this Sunday, August 16.
We recognize that making this decision so close to the event is especially disappointing, and we sincerely apologize to everyone whose plans are affected.
Most importantly, we want to say THANK YOU. 🙏💛
Thank you to every performer, workshop facilitator, vendor, sponsor, volunteer, collaborator, ticket holder, and community member who prepared, promoted, purchased a ticket, or simply supported what we were creating.
We know how much time, energy, creativity, planning, and finances go into being part of an event like this. We deeply respect that investment, and it’s a big part of why this decision has been so difficult.
🌿 Why We Made This Decision
Unfortunately, advance ticket sales have been significantly lower than anticipated.
Producing Vibe Fest requires a substantial investment before the gates ever open—from our stage and sound team to insurance, porta potties, production, equipment, and many other behind-the-scenes expenses.
At the current level of advance sales, moving forward would mean taking a financial loss that simply isn’t sustainable for Vibe Fest long-term.
We’re also keeping a close eye on Sunday’s weather. While much of the day currently looks okay, the forecast is showing an increased chance of rain and thunderstorms later in the evening, which creates another layer of uncertainty for an entirely outdoor event running until 8:30 PM.
Ultimately, when we look at everything together, we believe canceling is the responsible decision.
🌿 Vibe Fest has always done things a little differently.
We intentionally create alcohol-free experiences centered around music, wellness, creativity, connection, and community.
Unlike many festivals, we don’t rely on significant alcohol and bar sales to offset production costs. We rely heavily on ticket sales, vendors, sponsors, workshops, and our community choosing to show up and support something a little different.
Sometimes believing deeply in something also means knowing when not to push forward at any cost.
💳 Refunds
We are beginning to roll out refunds for general admission tickets, vendor fees, workshop registrations, and other applicable event payments.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience or disappointment this causes and truly hope you understand.
🌅 So, What’s Next?
My team and I feel this may be the right time for Vibe Fest to take a genuine break.
For me personally, I’ve been feeling called to slow down—to travel, go inward, recharge, write, experience new things, and create some space to listen to what feels next. 🌿
📖 I’ve also been quietly working on a book, something I’m incredibly excited about and looking forward to sharing much more about when I’m ready.
And when it comes to Vibe Fest, maybe the next chapter isn’t about doing more.
Maybe it’s about doing fewer things—and making them bigger, more intentional, and truly unforgettable.
🏕️🌲 One idea we’re especially excited to explore is a possible Vibe Fest Camping Experience in 2027.
Imagine giving ourselves the time to pour our energy and resources into an immersive experience bringing together music, nature, wellness, workshops, art, camping, connection, and community. 🔥🎶🌿
Nothing is officially confirmed yet. For now, we’re giving ourselves permission to pause, reflect, and dream bigger.
The mission hasn’t changed. We’re simply giving ourselves space to rethink the best way to bring it to life.
This isn’t goodbye.
🌅 The sun is setting on this Golden Hour, but another Golden Hour will come.
Thank you for believing in Vibe Fest.
Thank you for supporting alcohol-free spaces.
Thank you to everyone who has shared their music, art, knowledge, businesses, gifts, and energy with this community.
And most importantly, thank you for being part of this journey with us. 💛🙏
Stay tuned. There’s more to come. 🏕️📖🌿
With love & gratitude,
Paul Vibes
