She was born and raised in Winnipeg and after graduating high school she attended the Academia Dei Capelli Cosmetology School. It was there she studied not only Hair Styling but also Aesthetics. After completing the one year course she picked up and move to Whistler, B.C. to work at the Avello Spa & Health Club in the Westin Hotel where she would continue to practice the art of hair design for two
and a half years. After that she moved back to Winnipeg to work at Hair 2 Die 4. It was there she would work with a talanted team headed by salon owner and multiple award winning stylist Ken Hiebert. Lindsay worked with Ken for the next 13 years at said salon as well at Upper Cuts Hair Studio. It was while working at Uppercuts in 2007 that Lecker began taking on hair competitions. In only the second year since Lindsay started to compete, she won first place for the 'Trendy Cut & Colour' catagory at the ABA Hair Competition in Winnipeg. Lindsay would travel to Regina, Saskatoon, Toronto and Paris to compete in other competitions winning multiple awards. In 2010 is when Lecker travelled to Paris to compete as a part of Team Canada in the OMC Hair Worlds Competition, otherwise know as the Hair Olympics. It was with Team Canada that Lindsay would place a respectable 6th in the world out of 50 competing countries! Forward to 2016 and Lindsay completed a 2 year stint in Vancouver working at the Julien Grenier Salon as well as Simon's Hair Salon. She is now living on the Island of Hawai'i where she has re-focused her attention on the Bridal Hair industry.
