**💊 If you've lost power, here are some important tips for storing your medications safely:**

**Keep medications cool:**
Store them in the coolest, driest part of your home. Avoid leaving them in a car or near a window.

**Insulin & refrigerated medications:**
If you've lost power, place them in a cooler with ice packs (not directly on ice). Most insulin can stay at room temperature (below 77°F) for up to 28 days once opened. **Call us if you're unsure about your specific medication.**

**Protect from flood water:**
Any medication that has come into contact with flood water should be considered unsafe. **Do not use it.** Come see us and we will help you figure out next steps.

**Check your pill bottles:**
Moisture and heat can affect medication potency. If your pills look discolored or smell different, do not take them.
