Why is it called Flourish MD? I see so many similarities between my flower gardening and women’s health.

First I map out the garden, select seeds, and prepare soil before blooms ever appear. Like planning a flower garden, women’s health requires foresight and intention. Preventive care, screening, and lifestyle choices create the foundation for thriving later.

Eventually, with consistently watering, feeding, pinching, and weeding, the flowers bloom and are ready to be shared with friends. It’s the same with us! When we have a plan for wellness and follow it with intention and consistency, we can feel well, balanced, and strong! We can Flourish!

Meet Towana Pardue, RN, BS, MSHA. Towana has spent her career in nursing and nursing administration, where she's known for being a strong advocate for patients. She has helped open new healthcare facilities and guided teams through best practices in care, always keeping quality and safety at the center!

She's an advanced scuba diver who loves the clear waters of the Caribbean. Towana and her husband of 39 years have a daughter who is now in the fourth year of her residency in general surgery.

Though Towana and Dr. Gooding have known each other for almost two decades, this marks the first time they've had the opportunity to work side by side. Towana Pardue The Menopause Society
