Many people associate pineapples with Hawaiʻi since they grow well in the tropical climate, but did you know that they actually aren’t indigenous to the Hawaiian islands? DYK that coffee plants have white flowers with a fragrance similar to jasmine? Arabica coffee flowers are self-pollinating, but bees improve the quantity and quality of coffee beans produced. Honeybees can also bring extra revenue to coffee farms with honey. Single-origin coffee blossom honey is said to have floral and citrus notes, but it’s hard to find since it’s seasonal and the flowers only blossom for a few days at a time.

Does anyone else prefer local honey in their morning brew? 🙋🏻
