October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a reminder of the importance of knowing your body and being proactive about your breast health.

Hawaiʻi Pacific Health was proud to join the Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk at Kapiʻolani Park on Sunday, Oct. 11. Our team welcomed participants to our booth, shared breast health resources and information, and connected with community members about the importance of early detection and screening.

Good finds for a good cause!

Employees and local vendors came together for Hawaiʻi Pacific Health Medical Group’s (HPHMG) Kapiʻolani Market on Sept. 25 in support of our 2026 Employee Giving Campaign. Funds raised through the campaign support programs and services across our medical centers that help meet the needs of patients and families throughout our communities.

From handmade gifts to sweet treats, the market brought plenty to browse and enjoy. Thank you to our HPHMG team, participating vendors, and everyone who stopped by to support the campaign!

Caught us courtside! 🏐

Our very own Dr. Kenji Yamazaki, Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group sports medicine physician based at Straub Benioff Medical Center, joined K5's "Time Out for Health" segment with Kanoa Leahey during the University of Hawai‘i women's volleyball match against Utah Tech at the recent Outrigger Invitational.

Dr. Yamazaki and Kanoa discussed injury prevention strategies for athletes during the pre-game broadcast, sharing practical health and wellness tips with fans across the state.

The 2026 Hawai‘i Pacific Health Employee Giving Campaign is underway! Throughout September, our employees are coming together through gifts, volunteer support, and campus activities to support the patients and families we serve.
