Navian Hawaii

Navian Hawaii Navigator + Guardian = Navian 💙
We are there when it matters most, guiding families every step of the way with compassion and care.

Our mission is to bring hope, reduce fears and impact lives.

Hospice care is about living your end-of-life journey with dignity and comfort, and above all, it’s about choosing how you want to live for as long as possible. At Navian Hawaii, we are an ʻohana of trained and committed caregivers dedicated to helping patients and their families face this transition with

hope and without fear, surrounded by unconditional love. The care we provide allows individuals to remain at home or in their chosen setting and to live life to the fullest with their loved ones. We care for the whole family by providing relief from physical, emotional, mental and spiritual suffering.

When Lori Kohara’s dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, she turned to Navian Hawaii for both palliative and hospice care. What she found went far beyond what she expected.

Mahalo to everyone who stopped by our booth at the Chinatown Kupuna Preparedness Fair at Halewai‘olu Senior Residences!

It was a great opportunity to connect with kĹŤpuna and share resources focused on emergency preparedness, health, safety and overall well-being. Special thanks to HPD for hosting this event and for keeping all of us fueled with lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day!

Meet Brittany Ghee, a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army and one of our incredible Navian Hawaii volunteers. 🇺🇸

Brittany supports our patients and families through respite care, giving caregivers time to run errands, recharge, or simply take a much-needed break. She also participates in our veteran pinning ceremonies, helping us honor the service and sacrifices of the veterans in our care — across every branch.

“Sometimes they just want someone to be there… I can be that presence.”

Mahalo, Brittany, for bringing your heart, your time and your service to our community.

"I didn’t realize how much we needed support until we had it."

Your generosity makes care possible that feels deeply human:
• Someone to answer when you don’t know who to call
• Support for caregivers carrying more than they imagined
• Guidance for children learning to grieve
• Small, meaningful moments families carry forever

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

At Navian Hawaii, we also take time to recognize the veterans in our care through special pinning ceremonies, one of the meaningful services we provide to honor their sacrifices and strength, as well as the families who served alongside them.

We celebrate you today and always.

Mahalo to everyone who joined us for another inspiring morning at Coffee Talks! ☕️🤝

Together, we explored what truly drives workplace engagement. How do we build strong teams and foster connection? What motivates employees to stay, and what benefits do they care about?

A special thank you to our incredible panelists: Jena Andres of ProService Hawaii, Chuck Reid of Spectrum Reach and Kendra Murray of Dave & Buster’s.

Coffee Talks will return in August with more meaningful discussions, networking and opportunities to learn from local leaders. Stay tuned!

"As an only child, I once thought being strong meant doing it on my own. What I learned is that letting people in is also strength... This Spring, I’m asking you to give so no family has to go through this alone."
